To me the real question is how would an emissions testing place know that those weren't the stock headers once there is a patina on them? Especially if ordered without the badging.

you've got to get smog tested every time you redo your registration I believe. While I live in Cali, as active duty military I register my vehicles in another state, so I don't have to worry about it.

My big question is do they actually look for these sort of items? We smog in Denver, but thankfully aren't at CAFE standards yet. I have a supercharger and DT headers. I have no problem getting my exhaust numbers well below the limits. Honestly, if these engines are putting out bad exhaust numbers, it is prudent to fix them. The LC isn't my 335i that I swap the downpipes on to smog so that it will pass. That does make a big difference to allow to be a bit at the limit of the numbers.

Also, @TRAIL TAILOR , any idea if the new rear shock guards would be compatible with an Icon shock? I cannot think off the top of my head why they wouldn't.

It's a visual FAIL here automatically.

As long as the OD of your shock is 2.75" in diameter or smaller they will work. I'm pretty sure they will fit a KING 3" as well but haven't tested yet.

That is really interesting to hear that your inspections are so much more in depth than the ones in Denver. Thanks for setting me straight.

I look forward to the shock guards becoming available! It sounds like they will fit the 2.5" Icons that I have.

I lived in the Denver/Fort Collins area and CO emissions are a breeze in comparison to CA. Colorado adopted Cali emissions standards in 2017 or 2018 IIRC.

Hey jason any guess on the next batch of RLCA skids for the 100? I think I'm about ready for a set.

Got under the truck to throw my sliders on after my monstaliner job and noticed the RLCA hangers were a little chewed up.

Jason,

Are you still shipping? I know that your website says shipping may be delayed because of COVID.

Looking at the front and rear sway bar links now that I've got a lift to install.

I brought in a set of headers for a customer and a spare set of headers and CAT back for resale too. I'll be gauging interest on these and if there is enough interest I'll work with my Australian exhaust MFG to make more.

J
Are those Pacemaker? I'd have already bought a set but they do not have a version for the 06/07 VVT engine so if you put pressure on them to make one you may have a customer!

We are shipping USPS at least once a week. We try for twice. Fed ex and UPS ground is once a week.

All I'm stock.

Just ordered the 100 series rear shock guards (plus the rear upper/lower control arms) for my weekend COVID-19 wrenching project list. Gotta install @TRAIL TAILOR's creeper skid this weekend, waiting for the new transmission mount to arrive.

Hey Jason, still got my eye on the accessory fuse panel mount plate for the 100 series. Any updates to that one? I'm sure your business is crazy like everything else, just curious. Thanks!
