Rumour is that in our neck of the woods, parts are nigh impossible to get
I have a friend who has one and many parts have to come from Australia. Makes things like brake rotors etc very expensive. Nice truck, but a bit less comfortable than a similar cruiser IMO. Very narrow width wise inside for the driver/passenger compared to a 60/80 series cruiser.

There’s definitely lots of land cruisers here. I haven’t been able to take a picture of a Suzuki Jimmy, but they sell them brand new here in Panama. most trucks are midsize, 4 door and turbo diesel’s.

Tiny home stove???? Yes please!

I tried taking a picture of the fuel prices here so all of your panties would turn into a knot, but the picture didn’t turn out. 94 cents a litre usd. Soo roughly 1.20$ can. SOB eh?

Solid gold 24v vacuum switches. When I eventually get around to throwing the bearing kit in my tcase, I'll convert to manual.

Always waiting for the day I'm heading to work and it snows, I push the 4wd button and nothing happens.
Funny thing is I've talked to many people who just never had a problem with them. I saw the dude on Wheeler Dealers
fix a leaking air line to his case on a JDM he imported and sold. I'll pull those off for just in case, this is a parts truck.
If I do one to manual I'll do two. Found another weird solenoid, I think is for the glow system. Hard to tell when
everything else is gone. So many people have told me to never worry about the vacuum system for the 4WD, so
I don't. Pretty inert, no sense fixing it if it ain't broke - haven't got enough money for all of that.

Yeah it does seem to work pretty reliably, but it's a lot of unnecessary complexity just so they could say "push button 4wd" in the ads.

I'm pretty sure I have everything to swap to manual. I've had a tcase kit sitting on the shelf for a year:lol:

You do know that's how N Americans truck manufacturers sell trucks to city folk?

You probably don’t care but there is a way to convert your vacuum case to manual.

All you need for parts if your handy with a drill/tap and grinder is:
Spring
Detent ball bearing 3/8
3/8 brass or steel bung
4wd selector seal/boot
And the shifter linkage arm for a manual

Oh we care. Why would anyone want an automatic thinga ma jig when having to spend a bunch of time
and money to change it to a perfectly functioning thinga ma jig into a totally manual process that now requires
physical engagement to make work? I'm only sitting here cause my omelet has 3 more minutes and the fire in
the shop hasn't melted the snow off the glass.

I've kept the front half of my old 4 speed case for the shifter stuff...most of my reason for when I do the swap is just to stop tripping over that ****in' thing.
