Same with all pro sports for me. We never watch NFL unless the super bowl. I think all about where you grew up.

Also, only watch Paris Dakar, world rally, f1, dtm and imsa. Round and round racing is a snooze fest for me. I understand it is hard etc, it is super boring.

And the one that is super baffling is golf.

Never did learn why college basketball/football was so special. Don't watch basketball at all, rarely watch college football except during the bowl games and NASCAM has become a ho-hum entertainment thing, no sport there.

I like world rally, and rallycross, and the short track racing they show on MAVTV and cbs sports network. I'll watch some NA$CRAP from time to time (if theres nothing on), but it really lost its luster for me about a decade ago or more. Too many cookie cutters, whether it be the tracks, the cars, the drivers, and all the stupid ways the sanctioning body and the networks manipulate the races.....Tampax, the official Tampon of NA$CRAP.....they have official products for everything it seems. The traditional pro sports, and college sports dont do much for me either. I totally dont understand fantasy sports "management" either.

Agreed. The amount of time and lost productivity for fantasy sports is unbelievable. Takes wasting time to a whole new level.

I am sure they say the same about land cruiser/car people.

The world is changing, fantasy sports are nothing compared to VR and the level of time and commitment people are putting into it. VR is simply the next "logical" step. Pretty soon you wont have to leave the house to take a trip to the Alps and the lemmings will be lining up for the chance.

Gave up TV & cable 9 years ago because I was infuriated with how people were wasting their time, idolizing players and players/people thinking they are worth more then anyone else. When I work with college students and younger, the kids' minds can not understand why I have no TV/Cable, nor that their favorite athletic player is not worth $10 million dollars or more.

On a different note, Why has the USA not caught up with the rest of the world and eliminated the archaic DST. I need to find the study, but I read where DST attributes to an 8% increase in car accidents with fatalities in the week following the change. That alone should tell the government to eliminate it. Been awake since 0100, Need more espresso....

Its about sales, money, and commerce. It doesnt change energy consumption, but thats what we tell the underinformed sheep to follow along.
