What's your top 3 pick for tires in a 37/17
Most aggressive possible that still can be driven 15 hours to Colorado for trails. Not a daily driver but needs to be able to do double duty. Kick ass on the trail and drive me 3-15 hours home.

Im strongly looking at the bfgoods AT T/A KO2 in a 37 on 17's.

What kind of conditions do you wheel in? Is snow/ice traction important? Do you go through a lot of mud? Does noise matter? Have you regeared?

Will make a trip or 2 to Colorado a year so snow a little, don't plan on ice, I live in Texas. but mostly rock parks around here with loose dirt. They are usually old rock quarry's so lots of loose dirt, some mud and large rock. I don't do mud bogging type stuff. I have 4.88 and chromolly axles nitro birfs and t-case reduction.

Mtr2 Goodyear lightest 37, perfect tire for Colorado I'm on my 4 set live and wheel everything Colorado has and Moab. I like the toyos too but super heavy

Don't mind noise really. The nitto mud grapplers do seem like they would be too soft and loud. The videos I've heard are pretty crazy noise.

Next question is I'm going from 16 to 17" wheels and I'm trying to figure out the width and BS. I'd like to stay at an 8" wide to keep the tire on the bead and want to do minimal cutting. 17x8 4.5bs seems to be mostly what's avail in an alum wheel.

Pretty sure you will want to drop to around 3.5"-4" BS if I recall. (top of my head from past discussion here)

I run 4.25 bs yes Kevlar mtrs is light some road noise, strong I roll 75 on highway, I also do discount tire and do there warranty so when one gets down on tread I can replace for cheap, I'm also reheated to 5.29s I couldn't stand 4.10s here in the mtns was horrible

Damn. Ya that's what I have read too. The nice simple wheels I like don't come with that. I'd hate to buy new wheels jus to have to spend another $200 on spacers
