Hi all, new 33x10.5x15 BFG KM2's are on there way for my 1977 FJ40,
Tech asked if I wanted the raised white letters to show or wanted the black wall look. I said black letters out. Question of the week, what are your thoughts?

myself, I like black sidewalls.

I have white out but if you wheel it you cant really tell after a trip or two...

yes is 2010. PO had white letters out. When I bought the FJ40 I put an older set of wheels and tires from my old FJ55 with the old Armstrong TruTrac tires I had, What a great tire, wish I still had them. Anyway, blackside out. Wore them out now back to PO's old Wranglers with letters out, never liked them, Vote is in, will put my black shoes out.

BLACK WALLS OUT for sure-----white letters are for H O M O 's:hillbilly:

Black out. White letters out are a thing of the past. Look at all new vehicles. I remember in the past having to scrub those letters to get them clean.

I've got an original FJ62 that had the white out when I bought it last year. I've kept it that way for the old school cool. The other 3 are black out.

Black out.

Depends on the tires. I got a set of Goodrich MTs and the white letters aren't that big so I put them out.

This was when I first mounted them

I went white out on my 33x10.50x15 KM2's on stock rims. If I had gone with a generic brand tire, I would definitely have done black out.
