Cost me six, I've attached the list below.
Guy said I'm out of my mind, still won't get more than 50 mph out of it. I made him do it anyway.

btw I'm 9,000 ft above sea level here and want to move to the coast. What mods do I need for that ..? Anybody know...?

...oxygen is much thinner at this elevation.

Air pressure at 9000 is 10.5 psi, sea level 14.7 so you are down 28%. You can expect horsepower be down at least that, maybe even more by the time you add in old engine, crappy gas....

Turbocharger for the easy answer, supercharger for the no lag racing tractors

...with a 2nd air filter, that helps...?

When the engine runs at sea-level, you should probably perform an idle speed adjustment, and check the idle mix at the same time. Less throttle is needed at sea-level per given rpm / fuel consumption rate.

I don't know Charlie, you got me to thinking. I pulled this vintage 50's McCulloch VS57 supercharger from my '54 Kaiser over thirty years ago. Kaiser used these on the 226ci Continental six cylinder engines in trying to compete with the Big 3's V8 engines. If I stuff this into my 40's engine bay, should I be able to hang with the "no lag racing tractor crowd (whatever that is)?

Turbochargers need to spool up because they are driven off the exhaust gas and have a lag in the power delivery as a result. Superchargers are shaft/belt driven and more or less instantly respond to the power demand, thus no lag.

My dad told me I should do an electric blower, for the to meet the intermediate needs for extra power.

I spent a summer workling 7,000 to 11,000 feet surveying some mining claims. Every 2 two weeks we would go back down to the 2000 feet flat lands for a few days. I was just awesome on my bicycle riding the green belt along the river.

You've covered the wsterfront.
Where was that?

I wsnt to explore the wilds of narino, on the border with ecuador. 3,300 meters (10k feet) high, cold as hell.
