I've decided to retire my 96 fj. Just curious as to what folks on here would ask for theirs, and where the best place to post them is? Anyway, it's got 229,000 miles, 2" lift, 35's (nitto grapplers), hella flood lights, arb bullbar with 9,000 lb winch. Needs some maintenance. The sway bushings could use replacement, slow power steering leak at the pump or hose, light rattle somewhere in the exhaust, toward the back. It runs great, though, and I've rebuilt the front axle, got new front brakes, and replaced the muffler and tail pipe. just curious if anybody on here has sold one and how they went about it as I know these cars tend to be sought after quite a bit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Where you live? PHH replaced, leaking oil? I would start at $7K and go from there.

Lockers?

I would expect to get anything from 5-6k, 7k is a little steep. I just bought a '93 that was well maintained with factory parts with 235k, F&R lockers, lift, ARB, and a M12000 for $4500. It has a little rust on the rear window, but that was it. Being from Texas, I am sure your truck is rust free and thats why I would price yours in the 5-6k range. Post some pics...

80s retire ? too sad :(

Thank you all for the advice! I will add pics in the morning so yall can see what I'm working with. It's a great truck, just too much maintenance for the amount of nomadic traveling I intend to do over the next couple years.
