was poking around a new rig tonight and looky what I found... clearly the PO had fallen behind in routine changing of the blinker fluid.

Looks like SAND = SALTWATER = RUST = PROBLEMS ...

Good luck ...

Hahaha...mine looked the same this past w/e when I removed them to put them in the new IPOR rear bumper...I'd even changed the fluid about 2 years ago, well I cleaned them out anyway.:D

Me thinks the drain holes are worthless...

Check the muffler bearings while your in the mood... mine were bad... just dropped some new ones in!

Hi All:

Oh yeah - fresh muffler bearings improve engine performance and fuel economy to a significant amount! ;)

Regards,

Alan

Make sure you only use synthetic grease on muffler bearings. Dino oils and greases containing petroleum distallates can melt at high temps and clog your cataclysmic converter.

I'm going out in the dark now to see if I can find any coins inside my blinkers

I was thinking of trying to sell the lot for $10 plus shipping!

these came out of the same cruiser... no, not in the tailights.

time to change blinker fluid

I have made it a habit to change the blinker fluid each time I change the water in the tires. Just a helpful tip.
