Just randomly came across an inventory closeout sale for 6 Max Burton 53qt Fridge / Freezers at $250 each. Thats like $465 less than the next cheapest vendor Hell my 37qt version cost $300

Busy weekend of Search and Rescue Training exercise and three vehicle recoveries (two rollovers). The ol snail did great, however she is getting warmer after driving for an hour. I suspect I overfilled the fan clutch again when I swapped in 30,000 cst oil several weeks ago.

Also the refrigerators / freezers are doing great and the solar panel is keeping up with them so overall I'm pretty impressed.

I've drained and filled mine a couple times, so I don't know how much is too much. But what I'll say is that you should measure what you take out and put in exactly that amount. If you put too much in the fan will stay engaged longer and heat up the oil until it looses its shear qualities, then the fan doesn't pull hardly anything and your temps will climb.


Today I outfitted my rear electrical box and 3rd battery. It has a Blue Sea 7600 dual sensing battery relay that disconnects it from the main battery when the car is off and the solar is not charging the 3rd batt. But then if the solar tops off the 3rd batt it will close the relay and begin to top off the main battery. Once that is topped off it will trigger the relay to the 2nd battery and top it off. It also works in reverse, if the solar isn't charging and I turn the car on the alternator will trigger the relay and begin to charge the 3rd battery. I know its confusing.

With two refrigerators running 24/7 I wanted to take the load off of the main battery. All of my batteries are deep cycle, but I really didn't want to keep cycling the main battery soo much.

Well then, I followed the "guide" on here but I definitely used more than drained out as it sat for three days straight and didn't cover the bottom of a small to-go container. I'd say I used appx.40 ml, I guess we'll see this weekend how it does. Thanks man!

I'm getting tired of haveing 15 projects that are 85-95% complete. So today I punched out one of my drawers.

Added a 'soft close' lid to the bedding compartment of the drawer. I'll likely add another to the other section of the drawer. The more I work with and use this draw the happier I am that I kept it deep.

Made progress on my tool drawer. Also found some carpet at Lowe’s that matches my rigs. So I started wrapping thebox

Finished carpeting the whole box today. I added some sound insulation to the front face of the box to muffle things jingling around inside it.
