lining up the front end might be the biggest pain in the ass. Poodle says it close enough for her. Hood looks like ray charles painted it’s. Do some color sanding see if it will shine up. waiting on hardware to get the headlight buckets in.

Big dealings today new shoes! cooper sst pro in a 30/9.5/15 on new oem wheels. The 80s called and the old wheels had to go. The 9.5 on oem wheel tucks nicely into the wheel wells where the 10.5 stuck out a good 1.5 inches. Also got the front bib assembled. Called about insurance and getting tags tomorrow. Still lots of stuff to clean up but excited to be rolling.

Well been doing some short drives. Missing exhaust makes for a loud stinking ride. Started working on a panel to close off the back when to top is off. cutting off some ambulance door i picked up from a 40 that a guy rolled. I figured i’d slice them off and weld a cap to match the tub. I couldn’t tell you if the tires are loud cause of the missing exhaust. It is way easier to steer with the narrow tires on it. I did have a charging problem for a while....dumbass forgot to put the voltage regulator back on.

this weekend was everyone’s favorite task! went pretty good. Had a little trouble getting one of the brifs in. Searched mud. It was said to wiggle and rotate the drive shaft. It works. Went thru half a box of rubber gloves. Just have to clean up the selectable hubs and get my new tie rod ends installed

Tie rod end problems. Half welded exhaust flange problems. I love how they packaged them for the mail…. Prime driving time and the sheep dog is layer up in the garage. I’ll weld the exhaust flange and already bought a different set of tie rod ends. Now sit on the porch drinking beer waiting on parts oh and surfing the chat section of course.

So tie rod end problems solved. A set off 555 ends fit perfectly. Ordered and exhaust from the manifold back from cruiser parts .net. It took more then 6 weeks to get it. One of the flanges was only welded halfway around. Took a week to work that out. I’m starting to hang it and it fits well. Got a flea market blanket to cover the seat when it parked in the sun.
