Got the wiring holes and the defrost slots cut. Used a hole saw and a cut off wheel. Not pictured i fit it up to the front cowl. All looked well. On to the next rust hole!

Reminds me of when I interviewed for my current job. Future boss ask me why i would want to work in a shop like this? I responded i want to be able to make any part I could ever want. This was a full 6 years before this heep of rust came into play.
 
since it was sunny and 52 degrees so i washed the top. Like everything else it’s gonna need some work. The sunroof transfers water very efficiently from the top side to the inside. I’d be willing to bet this feature was a major contributor to the floorboard rust. Got the bumper bolted with the help of the shop dog.

some work on the rear harness. ordered connectors to mate up to the main harness and for a couple of other things. Once that comes in I can throw it back in. The rear light connectors are 5 pins with a dedicated ground running up to the main point by the battery.

Looks like that front bumper is upside down. Also, you can still get the right OEM hardware for the 6 round bolts on the bumper.
