This stuff makes such a huge difference in heat in the cab with some floor mats

Got the drain hoses in, new hump insulation and SOR gasket.

Memory is weird cause in my head I thought sheep but that's the key chain I remember FOR SURE! So happy to see it again!

Had a trip to Florida to do a Cruiser swap and got home yesterday and spent an hour figuring out this Downey header does not work with a 3 on the tree. The rear tube kicks out and is not in line like a standard 6-1 header

I dropped the header that came off of this truck at powder keg for Cerakote

Aight. Kid just got home. Off to do our part to Make America Great Again 🇺🇸

Always fun when the PO uses RTV versus paper

Paper only please

3.70 in place. Thanks Georg for the nice specimen. Always put the rear third in the front when swapping in used thirds. If there is any wear it won’t matter if it’s up there.

Added some 4* caster shims, Dobinsons ubolts and a new stabilizer.

The center arm feels smooth with everything disconnected. That’s good. The early center arms are hard to find and super expensive if you do.

I thought I could simply add a 60 slip yoke but it would not slide into the old driveshaft so I had to drill new holes.

IMS shocks installed

Love these hubs

90 wt in. Tires back on. Front axle is complete. That’s a lot of work.

Took a lunch hour with Will and then got back with the 60 axle tear down. I appreciate @orangefj45 sending me a clean axle. Many times you buy used s*** and it’s a horrible experience.

3rd is in place. Building back now.

Mess

TSM disc kit via Valley Hybrids was on the pallet with the 3.70s. Great kit complete with stainless lines.

Getting close. Long day but I need to install the shocks, tires and then drill the flange to compete this rear axle.

???? Didn’t know working on old 45s was part of the plan.

This old axle is unburdened by what it had been.

This new axle is the best axle. A beautiful axle. The most beautiful axle in the world.

Curious what are you doing with the old drain and fill plugs from the differentials? I notice you always replace with the allen head style.
