I'm going to pull the tractor out tomorrow. I was too nervous about spinning out going down my driveway today. I'm hoping the morning sun will melt the leftover layer of ice the snowblower left. So many driveways on my street are socked in from the county plows.
If it starts sliding just drop the back blade

The postman brought this today:

I've not come across any of those white 80 series that @Cruiser804 poster.
Looks sweet. And doesn't have all the promotion crap plastered on the side like the grey ones.

EDIT: In the picture of the blue '87 pickup, I noticed that it looks like the paint is worn on the edges... it's actually reflections off the paint. It's got a ton of flake in it.

I was following a bit, and forgot about it. It escalated quickly.

Didn't read the whole thing because it seems childish and annoying to even read haha. But the guy that started the thread does not make sense. I'm gonna call someone out on Mud and willing to respond to private messages about what happened. But I will not post that same information publicly on the thread...

2973 words in the post that most of us will probably call it quits on, not counting the text screenshots.

But you guys have fun following it. I'm out. Over. Finished. Done. I won't read it anymore. Seriously. Won't even open the thread to see who's posting. It's already spoken for itself. There's nothing else to know. Point proven.

Argh! Who am I kidding??? :bang:

LOL, I read the whole damn sorry thread yesterday, AND went back just now to get caught up. It sucks when you miss an episode of your favorite drama. Moral of the story is...don't put a GM motor in a Toyota I guess.

My favorite quote of the entire debacle thus far is, "He should go lease a Jeep."

Read the whole thing, couldn't stop, now I regret it. Waste of time. LOL

It just seems like there's a point of diminishing returns being a small shop and trying to sling parts as well. There can't be that much mark up in parts like this for it to be worth the hassle. Selling parts that your shop will install, I get. Trying to compete with Amazon, no way.

How is this even possible? I'm not a huge fan of FJC but I'd think about grabbing a brand new one like this, certainly if it was a manual.

"A spokesperson explained that it was somewhere on the East Coast, and that "it was sitting on the lot since 2014 and was sold as new." Other details seem nonexistent at this point, which adds even more mystery."

I bet it was written off as stolen the insurance company paid off and it was then"found" in inventory. Since it was new and had a manufacturers title it was turned into the insurance company and they had to go to the insurance company get it released ,buy it back, then apply to toyota for a new manufacturers title. That process takes years. Our neighbors had that happen on a trailer and it took 5 years to get a new title and that was from a US manufacturer.

It’s not just an East Coast phenomenon.☹️

I am sure it sat in some Toyota owners showroom or personal garage for display and finally got sold when the market went crazy this year. Can anyone find out what it sold for?

There were two sub 100 mile TT FJCs for sale about three years ago. They had been Titled.
I gave (somewhat) serious consideration to the 6 speed, but I just wasn't convinced of the market at the time.
Both in the 45-50K range.
