ha! thanks...i was full of camping gear and on my way home after a Melbourne Cup weekend in East Gippsland so i couldnt really "gun it" around the corners as there were still people coming in to camp....and the many blind corners on that road == restraint!
cheers

this would have been good if had the iPhone in landscape instead of portrait.
i took it before the other one, sounds pretty good, but sorry it is what is. Enjoy the sound

damn that looked like fun. I dont know if i have ever seen a 100/105 that tall. I wonder how big the tires are. I think everything on the 100's front end would literally explode if we did that. I guess you have to live on an island continent to have all the fun.

hehe! Well the phone was held above the steering wheel (steering and holding the phone in my right hand, changing gears with my left) - imagine the sound through the open window! Amazingly though when the windows are up, it's nice and relatively quiet. I did do a video of that on the return back home and then opened the windows just before that one lane bridge on the video above so you can hear the comparison.
I'll get that posted up when i can.

that video of your is great....how tall is that 105?

The Description from this video of the same 100 by the same guy:flipoff2:

if you think about how big the 100 really is, that is a deep hole!! If he had had IFS, he would have mad it.

Help! I've fallen and can't get out!

and because of d1ckheads like that we have national parks and forests gated and tracks closed.... :(

NO it's because the Australian State Governments are so wasteful with their spending, that they find it easier and cheaper to put in a gate than spending $$$ to maintain a track.
The Mueller Jeep track from the Tamboon Road has been closed for nearly 3 years because a huge Firetruck damaged a bridge across the Thurra River at that end of it.
There are NO funds to repair the bridge...so guess what? That gate will stay locked forever and the track will overgrow. Repeated questions are answered with: "we are awaiting funding".

The cynics amongst us know they just dont want to maintain the tracks as they dont have the $$$ and it's easier to close them. However, the track closures mean that their (DSE and ParksVic) ability to fight bushfires is severely hampered by track closures because they cant get ground units in.
LOSE LOSE situation for everyone.

EDIT: i'm now thinking that i need to rally the 4WD community to raise the funds to fix the bridge and keep this track open. I've already seen too many track closures down there in the Croajingalong NP and seriously it's only because of lack of Govt funds. Watch this space.
