Happy 4th mudders.
My son and I started the day replacing the alternator on his Tacoma. He worked. I sipped coffee and helped a little. He was very happy that he saved the money doing the DIY thing. And I got to spend time with him. Win-win.

The PO removed the OEM fuel tank and added an aftermarket rear tank. So this fuel line cover was missing when I bought the 40. I found one on eBay for a fair price. It will go to powder on Tuesday.

My seats are OEM… Scheel-Manns are on my list. They continue to get squeezed out of the budget.

Drove it to work yesterday. Not my favorite kind of day. At work before the sun was up. Finished after the sun was down. Driving the Iron Yak made it much better.

As far as how many.. it’s kind of up to you because you cut the holes in the top yourself, but I would plan on at least 3 per side.

Bummer. I was hoping this top came with the grommets and I matched the twist ties to them. That’s the way the Dirt Roads top I had was. I really hated adding those.

Mine require 8 total. 4 per side . Grommets were already included on the top. I just bought the OEM twist locks
