Beretta makes a fine O/U. My go to field gun is a SP III.

Picked up the seats and J/seats this AM. Everything is ready sans the seat-backs. I’ll add those after everything is back together.

The Mule is inbound this AM, southbound out of Wooster OH. Going to use the Barbie G as a staging base while Ms Revenge is still in Bocca.

I can’t imagine how “happy” she’ll be to see the Mule. I think I’ll park it in her spot so that’s the 1st thing she see’s when she gets back…

Everything is in pre-op. Front seatbelts are just back from rehab. The retractable housings need a good dusting/cleaning. Jseat belts will get a light cleaning as well. I have the original Jump Seat belts tucked away. They need a complete refurb. Going with the after market set for now, they’re cleaner and look the part.

Big day in the Tadder Hood today.

Mule made it home. I even got the concierge service unloading it. No seats at that point so the driver only looks 3ft tall backing into the BG…Received a final buffing yesterday and it shows. It’s definitely “High Definition”..

Had some time yesterday afternoon to start the interior reassembly. Nothing gets the blood flowing like poking holes in fresh upholstery. Took a couple attempts in order to “rememberize” the nuances of the Toyota seat track assembly. Wish I had a camera crew. Pretty sure at one point I had the seat back in a headlock and the seat base in a figure 4. I would describe it as a monkey trying to hump a football. Ahhh good times.

The brown MGV looks really nice against the “Ferrari Mule Brown”.. My phone cam translates the color a little lighter, or maybe it’s my eyes translates is darker. Regardless, I’m pretty happy with the choice.

Huge shout out to @mtn biker and his daughter who graciously agreed to capture the spirit of the Mule in this rendition of “1.0 in the wild”.

Pretty sure they’ll want this out at the LC museum for their diamond plate display. Sorry fellas, this one’s going up in a place of honor…I’m thinking Ms Revenges nightstand..

The Mule earned its moniker for its less than stellar rough around the edges appearance and all duties assigned as a hunting fishing “pack animal”. That’s part of it, a smalllll part of it. The Mule has a stubborn streak that when it’s engaged is a fight until someone assumes the canine submissive position.

Today was one of those days. I did get the interior in today but the mule rolled out the attitude from the start. An all out battle over an “inch”.

Interior is in minus 4 bolts for the J/seat legs and mounting the seat belts.
