Had a little stumble on the way to work this morning that went away. Came back when I started it this afternoon . Here are the sniper readings. Any ideas whythe AFR would be so high? Bad O2 sensor?

Starts and idles fine. Drives OK at low RPMs With some sputtering. Runs very rough at higher RPMs.
I ordered a new o2 sensor.
what is the lifespan of these sensors?

I haven’t installed the Sniper yet. I was doing research last year and stashing parts. One of the interesting products I found (saw on a couple HS installations) was a O2 heat sink bung. Excessive heat on the sensor is not your friend.

The finned bung keeps the sensor cooler.

I‘ll dig through my bookmarked pages and see where I found this on a HS installation. I was just curious if you were using one…

Good to know…I hope to in the near future have a catalytic converter installed and a welded bung.
Might be the perfect time to install one of those. Thank you

Not sure, the “Bosch” was an example. If I recall, I was reading through some of the turbo/tuner interwebs and found info on the application. I’ll go back and check but, I think Nolan @wngrog was using them (the bung) as a way to create a cooler spot for the sensor..

I was on the way home yesterday when I noticed a nice vintage Bronco ahead of me. As I pulled in behind him he gave me a thumbs up which I returned and then he slowed to allow me to come along beside. It was 2 guys who work for Velocity Restorations test driving one of their rigs. These guys do ICON type work. Beautiful rigs but obviously out of reach for most people. Here is a link. Although I’ll never own one I do enjoy admiring their work.

Well….the Iron Yak has been my daily driver for 3 months now. For the most part it is awesome.
The 40 mile round trip to town 3 nights a week for my daughter VB practice. Not so much.
We have been looking for a fourth vehicle for me to drive until the daughter turns 16.
Finally settled on a 19 TRD Off road 4 runner. 40k miles. I am enjoying getting to know another toyota while giving the 40 a break.
 
Merry Christmas mudders. We are enjoying a Mid 60s day here on Pensacola Beach.
Hard to believe it has been 4 years since the “Iron Yak” rolled into my life.
Hope you all have a day filled with family and friends. ✝️
 
In addition to paint and body my brother makes knives and dabbles in leather work.
He sent me this leather Knick knack holder for Christmas. I had to send him a photo of it put to good use.
