The struggle is real...beginnings of arthritis I think.

Also disease from that carpet. . . LOL

What are those clips? Look like something familiar.

Something new you bought? :)

I am also looking for advice on buying a piston driven 300BLK. I am tired of how much crap my DI 300 BLK puts out. I also am tired of owning a SBR . . .

Those are 10 round (I think I recall the count right) stripper clips

PWS uppers are really nice and IIRC they make some 300BK uppers in the piston variety.

That's a welcome mat that has been relegated to garage use. border collie tries to reproduce himself
in fur on an almost daily basis.

Had the 556 for a while, and my good ole buddy @erymer sends me fb deals, so I had to get some accessories for it. hes an expensive friend to have lol

Anybody happen to know a gunsmith who has a 22 K Hornet chamber reamer? I would rather not have to pay for a reamer and the Smith work...

Thx! PWS was about the only real option I had found as the Sig rifle doesn't have a stock with the spring/damper.

Thought I would get the full gun as my SBR's lower is registered. I think the next step is to sell or trade the barrel for a 16" and then provide notice to the NFA of the change. Then finally try to sell the thing :)

The best part of the 300 BLK is trying to figure out the actual drops on the dual ACOG, btw :) Lot of fun. Gotta shoot a lot of bullets.

I’m running mine as a PDW, 8.5” barrel and MVB PDW stock with the H2 buffer. Really geared for 200 yds max. Based on the ballistics data, shooting supers you can run with a 25yd zero and be good out to ~200 yards before the bullet really starts to drop off.

Subsonics, whole different story;)

So @phrogg4evr you have the PWS brand and like it?

I think my old SBR is officially up for sale. :)

@weejub Nah, I've got a Noveske 8.5" DI upper with the SDN-6 can on it, my only piston offering is an HK416 upper in 10.4”.

I have shot the 109 piston upper, very pleasant to shoot, and the longer barrel uppers are even nicer to shoot fro mwhat I've heard. Definitely with the long stroke piston, the recoil is a little different than what you have come to expect from a DI gub, but not as sharp as the short stroke piston uppers.

  • 10" stainless barrel (SBR - believe it is Shilen)
  • Spike's Tactical upper
  • LMT Lower
  • SRT Magpul stock
  • Seekin's Precision Hand Guard
  • Dialed in for both suppressed and super

Would require Stamp. Anyone interested PM me for details.

Thunder Beast, bipod, ACOG, Strap: all stay with me

I move that bipod around - only use for the range. Nice one tho, really like it - Harris brand.

Hoy Pistoleros !
Anybody doing any CAS? I just joined SASS and am starting to assemble my outfit.

Another option for the SBR - probably the best:

I can sell you the upper (~$500) - it is not serialized. Simple bill of sale. You can then either use it as a pistol or choose to create your own SBR with a new lower.

Compare with the following:

300 Black Out 10" – Spike's Tactical

I then would have the choice of keeping the lower and keeping it on my gun trust as a SBR or sending a note to the ATF that it is no longer a SBR.
