The sight pictured does not have the correct mounting points for a Model 88.

This is a supplier that I have used to purchase apertures for my Redfields, in multiple aperture diameters. I have found this helpful in tailoring the sight picture to target size and ranges. Since he carries some apertures for Williams, there might be some of interest to you.

I need the entire sight assembly, not just the thread-in eyepiece.

Random DIY tech, but the HF kneeling pad ($5) fits their Apache 4800 case ($40) pretty snug on width. You can cut it with a utility knife. Here's what I did with mine. Holds my pistol collection much more securely than the standard pick-n-pull foam.

I am not a fan of the pick-n-pull foam either for my cases. I opted for large sheets of foam from Amazon.
Set the pick-n-pull aside after using it as general template, then cut amazon sheets for exact fit.
Also, the Amazon sheets were layered in build up, so I cut along layer lines to tailor the depth too for to refine the fitment.
I am satisfied the costs and results.

Possibly too much information and detail ...

Redfield case.webp

The foam in this case is fitted so I can carry a combination of Winchester 52C/D, Remington 40XB or H&R M12. They are all match rifles with Redfield sights so I used common features to define generic outline that they all fit within. So I can mix and match based on what I want to take to the range on a particular day.

CMP case.webp

The foam in this case is tailored similarly to my match rifles with scopes or my CZ for NRL22 competitions. This case is from the CMP and was sized for a Garand so it is a little short for the match rifles at 52 inches in length. Hence, the value for the fitted foam with a tight case.

nice build! What's your goal (competition/elk/or what)? You likely already know, but your POI will shift with vs without the can. I'm guessing you are planning on leaving that attached. Socom762-Ti? I am a fan of FDE frames too! Pretty much anything other than black when possible.

I plan on hunting with it and playing at shooting long distances. I will probably always shoot it suppressed. The suppressor is the regular 762 rather than a ti version.

Just picked up a G47 to add to the collection. It’s obviously too big to be a CCW for someone with my frame but I’ve always enjoyed shooting full size pistols. Excited to get some rounds through it and compare it to the G17s I’ve shot in the past.

Palmetto State Armory had G40 MOS on sale for $499. I’m a 10mm fan boy. My first autoloader pistol was a G20 back in the 90s. I still have it. I’ve wanted a G40 for a long time but couldn’t justify the cost until this PSA sale. I’m excited for it to arrive. I plan to hunt feral pigs with it.

If you want to “put together a team,” keep me in mind 👍🏻

Anyone who is interested in ammo.
Some for AR. 44 mag, 357?, 20 gauge.
Clips for the AR, couple other clips to be posted. Any interest I will get better idea of what I have.
Thanks
Are you giving this away? I may be in the market for your .223/5.56 depending on what it is, etc.

I'll take whatever .223/5.56 that gasman doesn't take, depending on the price.

I spent yesterday at the Talladega Marksmanship Park. Sighted in a Remington 40XB and Winchester 52D at the 100 yard range. I had intended to be on either the 50 yrd or 50m ranges, but I found out after arriving that these rifle ranges are only used in competitions so they were not available yesterday. On the upside, the 100 yrd range has the electronic scoring which I found to be very helpful. When I rushed a shot or let my concentration slip, the results were immediate for me to see.

This range complex struck me with a country club feel rather than a firearm and archery range. The barrelmen sculptures added to this feel. Barrels/receivers from M1 Garands are the primary material used in these sculptures. They left me wondering if these sculptures had any influence on the throne in the Game of Thrones.
