KS has the most liberal hand gun laws in the country and probably the most conservative hunting laws - - I don't mean like Republican/Democrats - i mean literally.

Conservative: The only thing legal to hunt out of a truck in KS is a coyote. In fact, if you have a firearm outside of its case in the vehicle, in season, you are likely going to jail.

Liberal: Of course you can also conceal carry without a permit in KS.

Unless you don't have eyes and ears, or a shotgun, this isn't a deal, but if you're looking to get into the sport and don't have the gear, jump all over it. A sporting clays round is $27 and you have to provide your own shells anyway, so it's cheaper to not buy the groupon (unless you get a cart).
I agree. $32 is actually more expensive if you bring your own gear and walk the course. They charge $8 per person for golf carts so with the GroupOn you only pay $5 for the golf cart rental.

Anyone have a j frame collecting dust they are trying to unload? Prefer a no lock version.

Been trying to decide on an IWB holster for my XDS 9. I know the fit and choices are all personal and it tends to take a few times to get "the right one" -- but I'm curious to see what IWB's you are using -- and those that you passed on too.

I run the InCog from G-code. Fantastic company and they really stand by their product. Made here in NC as well. Other IWB I like are the Galco king tuck and anything from Crossbreed holsters. Alien gear makes a good one as well.

FWIW @DeeRex we have 4 incog's between Stacy and I. lol. The blood stripe edition is my favorite and the one on the right. They donate some of the proceeds to the MARSOC foundation. A friend of mine is a VP there and made Stacy a Custom Pink one like it as well. You can wear it appendix or 4 o'clock. It's all I'll ever use to be honest. You can adjust the screws to change the canter on the holster and how tight or loose you want the draw to be. And like I said their customer service is top shelf.

Milt Sparks versa max 2, Criterion, and Nexus are my choice. Spendy but I have one in horsehide that is rapidly approaching its 15th birthday

So, I just bought a S&W 642 and much to what I had already surmised, it's too close in weight/size to my beloved Glock 43. Thus, I want to find the lightest pocket gun for when my Glock 43 is not conducive to my carry situation.

This is brand-new, in the box and never fired. Installed Wilson Combat Springs, new set of Hogue Bantam grips (factor grips included) and painted the front ramp.

Cash price is $400

yea, they closed up stores back in the early 90's as well. i thought they sold out to someone or filled back then as well.

For sale: Marlin Camp 9mm carbine. New in box, never fired. Manufactured in 1989.

SOLD

They did. Guy that bought them owns either the KC or ST Louis (I do not recall which) MLB team among other things. He also owns 3 Forks Ranch in Colorado NW of Steamboat.

He bought Gander Mt partially to to backwards integrate because he was tiring of payin Cabela's 20% commission on booking hunting and fishing trips. I know this from hunting that Ranch one year when he had a fire sale on a hunt because someone backed out at the last minute.
