I need to borrow your plasma to get all the perches off of this 14b in my truck. Hope to have my dodge fixed tomorrow morning, so I can swing by this weekend if your gonna be in town. Maybe pop that bitch off while we are at it also. It doesn't need many connections. Fuel and power to starter and oil in crank case.

Free time again

Got some time so hopefully it will be driving soon. The fluid mounts work great. Got the fuel lines ran with Gates Barricade fuel line, SAE J30R14T1, should be good to use when I fuel with waste oil, hopefully. Centrifuge setup comes after this drives :)

I need to drop the tank and clean it out.

Next up, I pulled the pedal and cable off of the van I bought. I am probably going to chop the pedal top and weld to the cruiser one, like boots4 did. Pretty good way without buying an expensive cable.

Here is the pedal.

Looks like I'll be buying another throttle cable. The one from the van is way too long! Anyone know of a way to put the lead-like end points on, I can't see using it if I can't shorten it.

Started mocking up the AC and starter and figuring placement. Hoping I have enough wrap on the alternator.

My throttle cable is pretty long too. I just wrapped it in a circle on the firewall to take up some room. No problems for the last three years.

That just seems ghetto to me.

You got a pic you can post up boots? Every which way we kinda looked at it just really wasn't very clean.

Oh and Tony I bought a handle of captain and some DP and Pepsi your gonna have to help me drink.

@boots: I may look for a shorter one if I get lucky. But may just loop it around the firewall for now. If your cable is still good 3 years in.

@Trent, you know it man. Let's do it!

Had family over today so I couldn't do much in the shop on the cruiser. Definitely plan on getting this usable in the next few weeks.

back in the saddle

Hadn't updated this in awhile, life has kept me occupied and not in the shop much. All work and no play. Got it brought back to life so I'll be back bring this thread current :p I've made some progress and all down here from here.

Back on track. Need some updated pics.

Ok.. now that I know people are digging the thread, I'll just updating. Been back working in it so will catch up to where I am.

This is my final serpentine setup, best part is it uses all stock parts I can source anywhere.. A friend had the bracket to hold the AC cut on a waterjet for me.

throttle

So I scraped the idea on using the throttle cable from the stepvan. I ended up going and spending money on a lokar throttle cable. And honestly, I'm glad I did. I reused the rubber bushing from the factory throttle linkage on the firewall to use the spot the throttle cable mounted on the motor in the van. Drilled a hole and mounted to the pedal.

fuel lines

I ran the fuel lines and bent it around the firewall, used some clamps. Ran hose on each side that is rated for b100 and all the bio veggie stuff, still need to put clampls on them:
