Do you think that RZR air filter will flow enough CFM's for the 4BT?
 
Dave, not sure. I'm not all that sure how much flow these 4BTs need. I called R2C and they said I should go to a larger one that will flow 1200-1300 CFM. They wouldn't say how much the rzr one did just said "that won't flow enough for that." Filter recommended is 6.25" in diameter and 10.93" long in the extreme media. Going to see if I can easily fit a larger filter in there and get one order.
 
GLTHFJ60: Man me too. I feel like I neglected it for so long. Totally sucks to see things you put on brand new all rusted already :( But home stretch now.
 
So got in the rear brakes and tried to get the emergency cable to work. Would pull with the lever inside but wouldn't release back without tugging on the cable behind the rear axle. Really need to get the brake pedal firm and not need pumping and get the ebrake functional.

Seemed to not extend past this unless I tugged really hard on it.

Messed with it for a bit and learned how much of a pita it is to reattach the cables to each lever. I pulled it to hopefully get the drum to easily come off. Lacking extra hands I used Irwin clamps on the lever to the inside of the shoe to get it back on then, with both drums off. Ordered a new parking brake cable assembly which shows to be here Saturday. So will probably clean up and paint the rear axle and goods.

Also I got a cheap laser tachometer to help calibrate my soon to be installed Dakota Digital DSL-1E. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001N4QY66/ Did a check on my engine lathe. Put a small square on my crank pully and My idle is at ~908rpm. It would lunge a bit and die recently at idle, since bumped up (Thanks to Trent for the recommendation) So probably pretty accurate. And much smoother at idle with a tick higher idle.
 
New parking brake cable came today. And it actually works :p installed it and had no issue getting it to the levers to put the pin in. Guess the old one really was binding inside.

Not sure if I want to build a bracket off the axle one to give a little better relief and not have the cable resting on the axle housing. So far so good though.

My handbrake inside doesn't grab the gears when I pull it though. Seems like a spring is missing in the assembly. I have to push the lever to catch the teeth and it is fine and parking brake holds... and the button then releases as normal. But still need to figure that out.

Did you get the spring thing figured out for your parking brake?
Also any issues with the RZR air filter and flow?
