Meet the Camel or Jamal if you speak its native language. It may have been born in the Land of the Rising Sun but its native land was in the House of Saud.

After having several of its cousins come through the shop and me losing 60 pounds so I might can fit in it, I commissioned @wngrog to start looking for me one.
He contacted his partner @Meshal in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and within a couple of days the candidate was found. This 95 had somehow missed the option of a mounted .50 cal but did have AC. Which is a requirement in the Empty Quarter and is very important in the Magnolia state. Also its owner had been a guest in the Saudi Arabian prison system for the last 10 years so and it had just been sitting.

After a very long boat ride it arrived in the O73 yesterday.

It has 149,500 kilometers on it.

The plan is to do a modified @wngrog "Tilda Bogue" special.

Ironman4x4 Foam Cell Pro lift

ComeUp DV9 Si winch
Baja Designs LP6 lights
255/85R-16 Yokohama MT

Spare tire carrier from @cppilot

Plus whatever @offr0adlim0 finds in his inspection.

Congratulations. Looks like a spectacular truck to have in the garage

you know the real deal 😂
I like the oem 90s look with this mustache
Indeed. Mine had been removed sometime before I bought it and I didn't look for a replacement before leaving Riyadh.

Getting these trucks here and in the condition they are, ready to go, takes a lot of work on the Saudi side and often bad luck strikes.

The story of how long this process took can be read HERE if you are interested.

Chris was OK with it because he was paying me in rolls of quarters from his side slot machine business.

I’ll share some of the photos from along the way.

The first 3 are when it was still at the Mountain

Once it was purchased it went to another shop , a friend of Meshal that helps him find these gems up in the mountains

We did not buy this truck the first time around because it did not have heat and AC but we gathered up all of the parts to convert this one since it was such a nice straight truck.

While it was apart it went back together right all new gaskets, weatherstrip and any pieces that were worn
