Are Yokohamas any good from a retail market perspective? They are um.....well I can't really say here why due to my work but not on the top of my list. At least the ones from where they eat balut.

Thanks to @wngrog pimping them on here, instagram and facebook they have come up several notches. I have always been a BFG guy and still use them on some of my junk. Having said that, the Yoko Mt on this truck verses the KM3 on my 55, the Yokos balanced up better than the KM3.
We have leaned into the Yoko's on a retail level across the board. Ask me in 6 months how that worked out. 50% of retail customers that arent locked into a price point will follow their tire guys lead....

I have beat the 💩 out of my Yokos and they are holding up good. Many sidewall gashes but no flats yet. 18,000 miles on them now, this will probably be their last season though, lots of tread left but they are getting beat.

I do lots of sharp rock wheeling and this was the fourth season on them. Probably 20 trips or more.

Cheers

Thanks. I was just curious on input from someone that sells them on the retail level to see how customers like them. I am not loyal to any specific brand anymore either.

I am always interested in learning more about reviews (as in actual on the road reviews) of tire brands that I find to be poor performers when it comes to uniformity and balance. More so uniformity.

Personally I am a Toyo guy but I have nothing against other brands. When it comes to review of tires, it is like asking who makes the best BBQ. Some people stay pretty loyal to certain brands.

@offr0adlim0 has been making progress on the Camel.

Ironman suspension done.
ARB bumper, ComeUp winch, Baja Design lights done
Alpine radio, speakers and One Stone Arm rest done.

Almost perfect.

Needs seat padding on drivers seat.
Still want to get it bedlined.

Rear Eaton E locker maybe over the winter.

My guy Caesar on the hill next to the old Audio Solitions will fix that seat easy and fast.
on my list when I add the padding.

Really sweet build!
I have no experience with a 75, but would like to own one someday.
How is the leg room and seating position? Comfortable for long trips? I'm 5'11" and dont want to be too cramped. Maybe some Sheel-mann seats would help

That’s about the max height for them. ScheelMann actually take more room than the stock seat.

Starting next year we can get the 79 series pickups and they have more leg room.

I'm 6 ft 225. The shorter you are the more comfortable you will be. Also you could spend money on the Sheel Mann seats which are great but in the 75 take up to much room for my size to enjoy.

I am 5’11”. I get a sore right foot and right knee if driving more than 4-6 hrs or more, especially for multiple days. The Scheelman seats take up more space than the factory seats. I would wait till you can get a 79. I have a universal cruise cruise control waiting to be installed. Hopefully that will help some.
