Nat,
You mentioned in your PM that you had a solution for the vent window rubber.
Mind sharing with the class?

Usually I lurk much more than I post, but I could not pass up the opportunity to tell you what a great job you are doing and how nice your pig looks. I plan to do the same thing with to mine over time, but with the help of my boy.

Again, Beautiful work!

Looks outstanding!! I need to drive up the road and check your seat install out. I'm looking to do the same seats also. Can you send me the info on your painter? I'm still quite a ways out on mine but seeing yours definately gives inspiration to get my ass in gear and moving on the body work and engine swap.

Nice ,very nice ...thanks for the inspiration

Nat-

Just curious, but why didn't you paint the top blue too?

BTW I have those same seats in my pig and they're GREAT!

Nat, that is one awsome pig...........you must be very proud also of that little helper that shows up fishing and taking some careful looks at the undersurface...........you can see he is being brought up the right way :)

I have always liked Chevy seats.

I left the top white to help keep it cool and because it looks pretty good

Got my bumper tire carrier project going

This is my design and I have fabricated the parts, but my buddy who has a 4x4 shop is doing the welding and the tube bending when it comes time. It will have two swing out arms and one latch. My buddy says he hasn't seen one designed like I have it :D It should be off to powder coating in a week or two.

The main bumper is 3x4x.25 HRS and the spindles are from Slee Offroad.

It mounts like this..........

It engages inside the frame rails and uses the 4 body mount holes. I opened them up to accept 1/2" hardware.

I also drilled 2 extra holes wider apart. This is so a gussett can run up to where the body mount holes are. The extra 2 holes will still be able to have flat washers on them.

That gives me 12 1/2" bolts in shear...............should be plenty strong
