Glass jug near my house had a bunch of 6 packs of grapefruit sculpin. I didn't purchase any more, but can, if anyone wants it.

It's nice it is becoming easier to find.... even the local teeter has it sometimes.
Next time i'm home i'm making a bee-line for the brewery though as they have brewery only editions - passion fruit, citra, lemon, mango, coconut, el dorado, etc...... wish they would bottle and release them.

in recent beer news..... Heniken acquired 50% of Lagunitas??? Don't feel good about that one. Good thing is that Lagunitas founder will still retain creative control.
So far goose island hasn't turned for the worse from their buy out so hopefully the same will happen here, but I see a bad trend starting to happen.

Had too many beers to list over the weekend but did make it to Brevard Brewing and Sierra Nevada Brewing
tried everything they had on tap, was a little peeved that hoptimum wasn't on tap as I think it is their best IPA by far.

Little Sumpin' Sumpin" has been my go-to this summer.These take-overs always make me nervous. If they work well. volume and distribution increase and the beer stays pretty much the same. BUT as soon as middle management and accounting start looking for additional margin we end with the K-car of beers...well there are lots of great IPAs these days I suppose.

personally I think for now the few that have been bought out will stay the same, its when too many start getting bought out that they really start slashing costs and what they pay employees to try and compete.
Anyway had some pumpkin over the weekend while my sister was in town.
the ballast point was my favorite but only because it was a scottish ale with pumpkin added

Got a 3gal centennial hop plant this summer and have unfortunately neglected it but it popped into bloom this past week. Going to pick up a few more varieties and try and get them in the ground somewhere for next season and hopefully try and harvest some for a batch.

Did some horse trading tonight and got another rare highly rated one...... never had it before but i've heard great things from trusted sources.
JFZ80 - Never seen the Boulevard Heavy Lifting - - I can say I have had almost everything they make. I may attempt to trade for one if I can get something worthy
