Update: skip the two Atlantic Brewing Company beers. I was either just enjoying the beer tasting or trying to recover from the heat when I tried from the tap yesterday.

@weejub the gang of blades was quite good. James and i had one floating down the river this past weekend. Hawksbill was pretty darn good too but maybe a tad overhyped/priced

Bringing the case of Spotted Cow beer to Logans Run that Stevezero picked up. Never had it before so I'll let anyone that's a Wisconsin native tell me how good it is....

also stopped by Elysian Brewing where they were having their annual pumpkin weigh off.... winner was a 1790lbs monster that will have a small hole cut in top and get hollowed out and then filled with one of their pumpkin ales for the Great Pumpkinfest this saturday.

Also stopped in Georgetown Brewing that has free tastings on saturdays and also machine house brewing that only does british style ales and they are all on Cask... one of my favorite places to go.

The maple is certainly there.
You can taste the high ABV, but not really in a good way.
I'll give it a 7.
