I had a call on Friday for a supercharger so I popped into Dealer Daily and there were none out there and the "status code" was a big fat "D".........

Meaning discontinued. :frown: It was fun while it lasted.

Or more cylinders.

Meaning, you don't have any on the shelf (I know, big ticket item to keep in stock) and there aren't any more available?

Sweet. I hope they appreciate. :D

Meaning that they are Gone Johnson.

Buy a Club, put a chain on your hood latch and get a nice big Rottie to watch yer truck.

On a more general note ... how long can we expect to have most OEM parts available from Toyota?

I can still get some FJ40 parts that fit late 60's and early 70's vehicles. Accessories go first, followed by soft trim, mouldings, body parts, electrical and finally drivetrain.

Dan, when you talk like that it makes me want to cry...

Please, a moment of silence for the first of the "D" accessories.:crybaby:

Bummer. It was on my list...just at the end. Why don't they give any warning? Any chance on a curtain call?

I wonder what my super charger is worth now? It just might pay for the extra 2 cylinders :D

i didnt want a stupidsupercharger anyway!

ha, seriously, one less item for me to spend my money on... bummer though.

Never thought that I would ever say such words, but, ...

Meh! :D :flipoff2: :D

It can't be sourced from Kazuma?

Thinking out loud cuz I'm too lazy to search... Has anyone checked to see if Eaton has a SC that would fit in the 80?

Kazuma was/is TRD.

The actual blower is an Eaton M90.

There's also a bit more to it than just the blower, which as Dan noted is an Eaton M90. There were also other cast parts that would need to be fabbed if you were going to go custom, and a number of pipes, etc. as well. Not that it couldn't be done, but it would be less of a kit, and more a custom job.

Meh. That's why God created JATO.
