Where are you getting AC parts from?

It looks like you have holes on the passenger side to run a wider condensor. Do you need the lines coming out the driver side?

The Denso compressor is from partsgeek.com (lowest price) and some of the fittings and hard lines were purchased at the local “tubes and hoses”.

Everything else is from:
Street Rod Cooler III Universal Air Conditioning System | Street Rod Cooler III Universal AC

I have my doubts it’ll cool the entire rig, but had limited space to work with and it fit the bill, size wise. Hopefully 100 sq ft of Thinsulate acoustic thermal dampener and llumar clear 80 on all the glass, will help the ac do it’s job.

Compressor on the left , evaporater on the right = lots of ac lines. I’ll have a mix of hoses and bent steel / aluminum tubing connecting it all together.... what ever it takes to have cold air blowing in the rig.

I’m believe the KilMat is designed to go inside the vehicle, but I used it on both sides of the firewall. My 3m Thinsulate hasn’t arrived yet, so I cut a piece of sound deadener from a Bj74 fire wall mat I had lying around, to go behind the ac unit. This way I won’t have to pull it again, once the insulation arrives.

I’m ready to get this air going and should have the complete system in place tomorrow!

Does the KilMat absorb water?
