I'm considering biting the bullet and ordering a teseven tub for my '82 FJ. Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with what Teseven makes?

I’m seriously considering buying the Teseven 1/2 tub for my BJ42. Any experience about fitting? It looks (in the pictures) much better than the columbian versions, but is it?

Edit: Looks like the wheel archs are a little larger, is it standard for the Teseven tubs?

@-MaTTi- could you share updates on the order process / shipping / quality? Very interested in a Teseven tub for my FJ40, just can't find as much info on them as I'd like.

So far so good, I placed an order, paid 40% of the total by PayPal and now just waiting it for 3 months.

Teseven: ”Your order is now in the process, once we do have a precise delivery date we come back to you.”

Here is few pictures:

I suspect there are customers in the USA because they responded with
shipping and prices to the port of Houston for me. Their stainless steel
product looks very very appealing and their crating looking exceptional.

I even doubt I'm the first USA mud member to get one....but even if so...
I'm going for it. I'll give you an update when I get further into the process.

There is a TeSeven tub for sale in Boulder (believe it is still for sale) if someone is looking & it fits the bill. Been listed for sale on here for a few months. It is at Adventure Off Road. Assuming it works for someone's needs, there would be no waiting & no import hassles to deal with on it.

What did they quote you? I could not get an answer to NY. Once it is in port I could get it from there

I read the sale post and seller says it is steel. He did not mention stainless. Also said he primed because of flash rust. Does Teseven also make tubs of regular steel ?

Yes they do make steel, stainless and aluminum though they dont seem to sell the aluminum anymore, using it for their builds instead. Im not sure why that early tub design was built on a late model frame jig, seems odd.

I saw the $1000 shipping number but did not want to place an order and get shocked when the real quote came in

Still interested in how your Teseven tub turns out.

I've been wearing them out via email the last month, begging them to build an early model tub for me so the tub looks like the OEM one that came on my 1972 FJ40. They finally agreed to build it in aluminum! It is at the top end of my budget for a tub, but if the craftsmanship is great and holds up in shipping, I will be placing an order as well.

This is taking a bit longer than expected to get into the schedule. Apparently they have production
cycles where they do a complete run of all orders and then they schedule another round. Pierre
says he will get back to me with the schedule at end of May. I need to ping him this coming
week.

Please keep updates coming.
ANYTHING is better at this point than the poor fitting never delivered columbian tubs

Update from Teseven.... Background: They have production cycles where all queued orders are completed
before the next round starts. They finished a cycle in May and are now working on my tub. Tentative
schedule is July finish at which point they have a good many tubs coming to the USA....so there are definitely
more patrons in the USA (as previously suspected). As also mentioned I will document the packaging,
fit/finish, missing/present holes and capture nuts when I receive.

What’s the latest on your order from teseven? I’m trying to order 1/2 tub in steel for my 73. Still waiting on shipping cost to west coast. They told me it’s a year out before I can get it. It’s their new body style evo 5 more OEM look.

Still waiting for mine 1/2 tub, I ordered it over 6 months ago.

I got the following message few weeks ago:
The bodies may be the last ones because we want to focus on complete restorations that we've been more and more requested about.
