Well-I'm just back from Surf and Turf... I left early to watch my freshman son play in the VARSITY sections water polo tournement. Awesome stuff-they won today 11-3. My 2F with 206,000 got me to Pismo and back, about 650 miles, with no issues. It was great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. The weather this year is PERFECT. Jim Brantley puts on a great event. If you have not done this, you need to. It looks like a record crowd this year. Congrats Jim!!!

I can't wait until next year.

the party goes on...

Glad you made it home OK. Sunset was OK tonight... in your honor here is a shot of a 40 ;)

Very nice to meet you. I'll keep the Norcal guys going...

Food was fantastic!

Thanks for the shrimp and the secret sauce.

-David

Is that what it looks like?

Sorry to hear that man!

What an event!!

It's always nice to see old friends and to put faces with avatars, and nicks with real names.
Just got back from Pismo. Like wine, it get's better with age. I can't wait to do it all again next year.

Regards

Alvaro

I second that, Jim put on a GREAT event once again... I guess I did get to "meet" just about every one, kinda. I worked Check Point 3 with PKP80 "Sam" on the poker run, lost my voice telling people " Check point 4, see marker 28, go to 17, head to the ocean" I must have said that a hundred times... Or maybe it was the Tequila...

Good to see everyone!

WOW what a great weekend - running and jumping the dunes - checking out all the rigs - hanging with old friends making new ones.

Snooks DVD - Amando's great jumping photos that night set to music on the big screen.

Dueling iPods - Alvaros great DJ-ing keeping the party alive  Sethzilla and Fireman for the beach bonfire - and everyone who shared food, drink and stories.

A BIG thank you to Jim and Katherine for hosting a stellar event and for letting us turn it up to 11 - :D

See you all next year

Jim, as usual  . What a fantastic time...again!

Great seeing old friends and making new ones

Doug - I couldn't stop watching the video of the Death Valley trip!

Hope you and Alvaro enjoy those CO2 tanks. It was nice having the air right there this weekend.

Thanks Jim, but also Katherine and all the others that brought together this awesome event. I got to finally meet most of the NorCal guys, but found myself in a stuper come Sunday because time had passed and I didn't get to meet everyone I see on the board that was present. I'm already looking forward to next year and seeing how we all out do ourselves and our rigs by then. Hope everyone got home safe and sound, please post up pics and links to your sites (in the pic section), as my camera broke before I ever got to SnT and have NO pics to show for it. all the best

Sam

Thanks Jim, once again my son and I had a GREAT time. Always end up driving home wishing I could have met more people.

I'm working on posting some pics...it's an odd feeling seeing your rig flying in the air and even weirder when it's someone else driving your truck... AMMO and PKP80 hope you had fun on the test drive : )

BTW, Jim really liked the T-Shirts/Sweatshirts this year...great graphics.

Cheers,
David...

You wouldn't be talkin about this would ya... And I believe the words straight out your mouth were "Drive it like ya stole it!"... So I did!

I know Boston started a pic thread but these seem to be needed here.

With all of David's stuff - that's got to be 6500-7000lbs flying thru the air. Nice sequence of pics!

You got that right! Hell, somehow I knew if it broke i'd be the one fixin it anyway...

Now me wants a supercharger..

-Matt

Ammo - I hope you had a nice ride too bad I couldn't make it.

I imagine I would be fixing David's 80 if you broke something ;). I still have new parts for his rig in my 80 scrapyard of a garage.

You know that if you are serious about the supercharger we need to talk.

More Pics of Surf N Turf 2005

AMMO lets see some pics of your 80 flying high :bounce:
