Is there a place to air up the tires when leaving the area? Or does one just bring their own pump/CO2?

AIR SUPPLY!
Closest - As you exit the beach in Oceano (Pier Ave.) there is a liquor store on the left that has air for $.50.
next closest - If you drive down Grand Ave, there is a 76 gas station about six blocks east from Highway 1, i beleive they charge for air as well but if you get gas they will give you a token for the machine.
next after that - Chevron on 13th and Grand Ave. Air hoses are no longer located on the pumps but at the back curb. If you're sneaky and look around there is a hose coming from under the rollup door by the bathrooms on the right. Air is free and fast.
looking forward to this weekend it'stime!

Brentbba said:E - you have to bring in your own water. Campsites out on the dunes are dry.
I'm not sure, becuase I fill up at home. If all else fails the
"Bananna Boys" cruise the dunes in trucks pulling trailers selling
fresh water, ice, fire wood and holding tank pump outs. (Well they
don't sell the holding tank pump outs but you know what I mean.)
This is "civilized" primitive camping.
