Final wheel travel has been found
Need to get the extended rod ends for the shocks and make a top mount then finally back on all 4

Cleaned up the shop a bit and slapped the front bumper back on
Frankenstein turbo manifold made its way to the lemons Car so I’ll be making a new one, going stainless this time with a nicer turbo that doesn’t leak oil out of the box
Got some wiring done and a few an fittings
All in all a little progress here a little progress there

Fj40 has a 2uz mounted minus the cross bar.

cheap'd out on welding jigs and now im cutting out new ones
I need to design some that are more adaptable so I don't have to cut out new ones all of the time, they aren't so much for positioning as they are mainly for fighting warp.
good news is the ebay turbo "leaky mcLaggerson" is getting replaced

Gotta say I love the bigger bearing too, I hate using the sleeves on the .5” bearing
I think I have a solid plan in place for the top mount steering is coming along gotta grab more hiem joints

When I beef up the spindles I’ll add adjustability to dial it in

Ackerman angle is looking good checked this with a blue bucket and some chalk so 🐻 with me😂
Bumpsteer is looking good even when turning
Hopefully better than a normal steering rack, it should be.
Also gotta love these mtrs in d range so easy to pick up!
I should be off the Jack stands soon doing the part of the cage that they will bolt to right now
It’ll probably be on its belly for a couple months while I do wheel wells and wiring, maybe more.

Tubes are where I want them far as I can tell and there is no way fenders are going to fit will have to do some sort of wide body (attempt 2)
The slip gear that goes on the ADD side of the tundra diff plugs into the other side so that’s good
Bad news is that the ADD side will have to get machined down by about an inch
I might just get it with the angle grinder to prove it’s possible
Looks to be the same depth as where it looks like another seal belongs matching the other side
Maybe it was meant to be

Got some 3.0 raptor shocks for the front should have plenty of dampening and everything is clearing…
