Worth every penny!Such a great upgrade!
Dang. Any indication like a chip? That’s so straight it almost looks like a stress crack. If it ain't my luck. Woke up this morning to find my windshield has a crack running down the middle the width of the windshield.
I need a lower deductible for this stuff. View attachment 3803888View attachment 3803889
3 month old windshield getting replaced.
My current theory is a piece of ice fell from branches overhead. It might as well be Kennedy ice bullet.Dang. Any indication like a chip? That’s so straight it almost looks like a stress crack.
You aren't actually going to sell your rig after putting so much time/money into it, are you?So after much deliberation, decided to list the truck for Sale. I enjoyed working on it. Made lots of mistakes, which all of you say through and talked me through. I appreciate the journey and will keep improving the truck until it sells.
Left on the list is:
1. New trunk struts
2. New odometer cable
3. Cats hollowed out
4. Torfab headlights installed
5. Bringing back the basket roof rack
6. Cleaning and installing the awning.
7. Touch some primer areas where rust fixes were applied
It's gotten properly cold, and after doing some exhaust work. I'm solidly frigid in 10 degree weather.
Lately managed to do the exhaust up, mostly. Fixed blinker/rear taillight issues, and undercoated the frame.
Currently asking 17k. Let me know if that is reasonable price.

You're probably right. You aren't actually going to sell your rig after putting so much time/money into it, are you?
If it's a financial burden (and these trucks sure can be), I understand. But if it's not being sold out of necessity, you're going to regret it as soon as the new owner drives away with your rig.
Where did you get those molded floor mats? Those are nice!Did some interior work. These molded plastic mats are pretty cool!
Changed the oil today as well. Used 15w40, 7.8 quarts. Took it for a spin, it runs well. Just have to get the exhaust leak taken care of.
Maybe you know Nick, my steering feels a little wobbly, any way to tighten it up? Maybe something to do with the steering stabilizer.
Oh yeah I need someone to help me with the rear bumper. The aftermarket one I have weighs at least 250 lbs!
So close to being done!

CongratulationsThe car sold. Thank you all for the wonderful time and advice. I have learned so much through stumbling with issues here. The 62 is in good order and will be on the road for many years to come.
