Are you talking about the coils? If so they dropped in without any tools.I assumed they were to tight to get on without tools so thats good to know.

Thanks! I can’t wait to take it for a spin!! There is quite the thread on tires awhile back but I didn’t land on anything as I found a used 40x13.5r17 Maxxis Creepy Crawler sticky tire that I’ve been using for mockup. This will end up being my spare tire. I might go with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires but I am still undecided.Been watching for some time now, and its really coming along nice!!!! Probably missed it, but what tire/wheel combo are you planning on??
Thanks! The wheels are really good quality, too. I just couldn’t see spending a lot of money on something that was going to be in the rocks all of the time.Thats a good looking wheel, and a great price!!! The 40s are gonna really make it come together!!
Stepping back from that and taking it in has to feel good!! I tossed the cab and bed on my project and it felt good ( even tho it’s temporary for me). Good job.
It does feel good to see it go back together. It’s motivating to see a vehicle unfold, even if it is temporary. Thanks.Stepping back from that and taking it in has to feel good!! I tossed the cab and bed on my project and it felt good ( even tho it’s temporary for me). Good job.

Never saw those wheels, dang fair price and good looking, I like the forged in the gray, thanks for posting that link.
Thanks for the info. I’ll check out the duplicolor product. I won’t change the hinge color but I might do something different with the hooks, grill and mirrors, but I’ll wait until the bumpers and sliders are done as they might bring just enough black into play. The Heep Mutt project I have goin on also, I was able to find black chrome hardware and hinges on Amazon. I dig the red hinges though. Years ago I used a rattle can black chrome for a 4runner grille. I believe it was a duplicolor wheel product, IIRC. Was skeptical about it, but it turned out nicer than I thought it would. Very happy with the results.
Do you mean like this? Ha! Every wire in the picture had a red wire attached, even the oil pressure wire that is inside of the loom. What a disaster. I’m going with blue wires this time. It will be easier to see them against the paint.I think its best to run ALL red wires to color matchget rid of all those yellows pinks greens blues whites sheesh what a fashion disaster
