I don't have a problem. When asked about the shafts, you responded new and checked out. You did not provide all the data.
The last thread many people provided suggestions on things to try and you were not receiving. I feel I am pretty fair as a moderator, but your welcome to your opinion. Just like your opinion that the 100 series is superior.
It's obvious your technicians are not qualified to work on this or it would have been resolved. I am not saying they are not qualified techncians, just not in this area. You don't want to learn how. So we are kind of at a standstill.
I will bet you $20 that if you brought it up to Slee, he would have it diagnosed within 4 hours of reciept, anyone want to add to the pot?
1. In almost every way, the 100-series is superior.
2. My technician is well qualified and has done many lifts for many vehicles. He doesn't do diffs though he's rebuilt a T-case on a Discovery. Is he a Cruiser expert? No such thing in Tucson. OK Tim on FJ40s.
3. I cannot learn how to do my own work. I have severe tendonitis from working a lot so I can pay cash for Cruisers.
4. I'll not take your bet. Though I'd guess he'd find it in under an hour. The cost to transport is not worth it to me.
It's probably an EZ fix for Slee, Robbie or a zillion of MUD owners. I have $20K in the thing now. It's a sweet truck. If I could sell it for $19K I'd do it now and get another 100. Hell, if a 100 can do this (just like my 80) why deal with old 80's. http://shottscruisers.smugmug.com/gallery/1928333
