On a '96 1fz, there's a ground wire in the harness close to the starter power wire. Where does that ground attach? Frame? Starter bolt?

I'm swapping an engine from a wreck and failed to document where I detached that one.

Thanks.

There is no ground wire for the starter. It is grounded through the case when bolted to the transmission adapter.
There are only 2 connections to the starter. 1 bolted connection to the positive battery terminal, and small push on terminal for the starter logic.

Thanks.

There is a ground wire in the harness in the same branch as the starter power wire. I assumed it's associated with the starter. Don't know where to connect it.

Probably the one that goes on the back of the intake manifold.

Perfect. Thank you!

There's a heavy ground wire that bolts to the block beside the engine mount.
There's two smaller ground wires that bolt to the intake manifolds.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Right next to the oil filter.
