Yes, I would get a 5th wheel and tire for the spare, do a 5 tire rotation every oil change.
This. Absolutely!

My stupid question of the day.. lol
Doing my rear diff fluid for the 1st time.
Does anyone remember the magnet spinning in the drain bolt? The magnet portion will spin a bit back/forth. Its solid I just didn't like it moving when I was cleaning it off..
Pry normal? I can't remember my 100 series moving like that.
When replacing sunroof guides/cables, is the gear sub assembly (aka motor) an obvious “while you’re in there” or are they usually good to go?

It’s strange because the 100 series has multiple threads and they have to buy the whole assembly. I assume the process is very similar with some nuances, but there is not a whole lot of detail out there. If you find an answer elsewhere please report back. This isn’t discussed much in this forum. I’ve been around for about 7 years and don’t remember seeing anything about sunroof mechanism self repairs.
I did mine a few weeks ago and spinning magnet was normal behavior out of mine.My stupid question of the day.. lol

It’s 8 sided so you could just use your plumbers wrench to break it off the rusted threads, then drop the LCA and drill out the stud, re-tap the hole and then put your aftermarket bump stop in like I did.Is the front bump stop hex head M36 on 2018 LX? Having a hard time with a plumber wrench and gave up
I’d hit the back side with a generous amount of penetrating fluid (there should be a hole in the LCA in the top to spray into) a day before you try cracking it free. I used a regular pipe wrench (monkey wrench) and got one side free but broke the stud on the other side.are there better plumber wrench? I have something like below, the grip is not great and doesnt offer much leverage, the bolt is just not budging

It’s only an m8 thread so it shouldn’t be super tight but more likely rusted in place. Just be prepared to have it break. Of course, you’re in CA so you might have better luck.are there better plumber wrench? I have something like below, the grip is not great and doesnt offer much leverage, the bolt is just not budging

Oh that was my original question trying to figure out the socket sizeGo buy a 24” breaker bar and pair it with the appropriate socket. What you are using has no leverage.
Need something more like this. Maybe a 24” version.are there better plumber wrench? I have something like below, the grip is not great and doesnt offer much leverage, the bolt is just not budging

Have you been able to compare it to kroil/aerokroil?FWIW, this is the best stuff I have ever used on rusty bolts. Amazing! (I get mine at work, so this is just the first link I found)
FREE Penetrant
