Hello All!

When I had my aux battery installed, they put a 150A fuse between the two batteries. Glued or used some sort of sticky-tape to attach it to the top of the starter battery.

Any suggestions for what I could use to re-attach the fuse when I replace the starter battery?
my SQOD:
why did they run a jumper from the battery posts? Aren't they connected internally?

Looks like 1 battery post. Jumper to one side of the fuse that’s taped/glued/adhered to the top of the battery.
You’re right! It looked like they had the fuse connected to the battery’s second post, and then they connected the 2 posts together.

Yup.
Note how in this photo with the cover on the fuse, the other, internal battery post is in the upper right of the photo.

Currently chasing down second row rattles. I’m going to put some foam under the seats and maybe some paper towels between the seat sections after cleaning and conditioning the leather. What is the purpose of these small removable panels?

Is this a stock item? Does every 200 have one of these under the dash or is it an after market immobilization item? It's a 2013 LC200.

I have a 2011 LC. I've checked all records on Carfax and the Toyota site (I put everything into a spreadsheet). I cannot find anywhere where the spark plugs have been changed out. I'm at 129k now. Should I just go ahead and change them? No issues, just want to stay on top of things. My guess is they are original, but I haven't pulled one out yet.

I believe Toyota reccomends 125k intervals for the spark plugs. I changed mine at 100k and they looked ok but not great. If you bought your LC before 125k I would guess the previous owner didnt change them. You could pull one of the front plugs in just a couple min to verify if they are original.

Thanks. I bought it at 125,041 I think. I think they likely haven’t been done, but I will see if I can pull one and see.

Does anyone know where a Lojack device might be placed on their 200? I'm looking through paperwork from the original owner and apparently my 200 had the dealer install it, but I have not seen anything resembling it in my past 2 years of goofing around and wrenching with my LC. I am just trying to eliminate it as a cause for some electrical issues.

Isn't part of the deal with LoJack that they hide them in different places in every install to make it difficult for thieves to find and disable them?

check your ODBII port. I recently helped a buddy install a tow controller, and he had a tracking device in-line with his odbii port that he didn’t know about.

This is a solid start.

I bought a tracking module for cars from...."land air sea"? It is designed to plug directly into the OBDII port. I thought this was too easy, so I moved it to the battery under the hood (Honda's have a way of obfuscating the battery at baseline), so it would be more difficult to locate.

the one I saw was completely hidden. The vehicle's stock OBD port was taken out of the bracket, and it was plugged into the GPS unit. The GPS had it's own OBD port that got plugged back into the stock bracket. If you looked at it, you would never know you were looking at an after-market ODBII port.

Yeah, I bought a used car that had previously been lojacked and this was how they did it. The lojack was gone, but the ODBII port was on the 'wrong' side of the bracket and hung loose. Owned that car for 7 years and never got around to fixing it, just didn't need to use the OBDII port for anything.

What is better for airing down and/or life in general? Wider wheels or skinnier wheels? 8" vs 7" width? Would I run into issues airing down a 285/75/16 (online says wheel width range of 7-10") on a 7" wide wheel vs an 8" wheel?
