I nominate you to also put a Hybrid synergy sticker immdiately below. I can't remember who else did it here, but I laud the effort. Pretty sure it helped his MPG too.

@timjax

I’ve been traveling to Dallas a lot lately. I spotted his rig in the wild. I was admiring his “rack” and then saw the hybrid emblem and figured out who it was.

Maybe we'll cross paths someday!

+10 mpg for sure:

Does this mean the 3 of you don’t know the location of the emblem………? Just making sure

Lol The jokes were worth it.

Someone answer this man!

My dogs haven't damaged the carpeted panel, but I recently installed a Canvasback tailgate protector. It makes for a better work surface, but it does make it a little more cumbersome to get to the tailgate storage (it is velcroed on). Trekboxx also has some nice protectors...

The tactical drop in replacements are kinda nice not gonna lie.

Would go well with my overland LARPing theme.

I have a particular um, thing, that would be super cool to foam cavity and store back there. You know for more LARPING lol.

So do you still have access to the tools?
It has velcro around three sides of the perimeter, so it can be opened or removed without much fuss. But yes, it adds a step.

@a200
Think i was mixed up with the 100 series options.
This is what im after, for a shotgun im building. These are whole replacement wells with custom options.

Cant find the ones for the 200 though...
Is it trail tailor?

A few of us have followed in their footsteps. Jason from Trail Tailor made them. I put one on my former '13. It has both plusses and minuses that are pretty well documented in various threads. I opted to skip it on my '16.

For those of you with dogs, what do you do to protect the carpeted tool panels in the tail gate.
I use the Weathertech cargo liner with bumper protector. Works well and despite LOTS of tailgate use for pretty much everything from eating to firewood to dogs to general stuff, the carpet still looks new. Easy access to the tool compartments too. The bumper protector part is removable with snaps, if needed. I just roll it up behind the tailgate.

I don’t have my LX right now to measure…has anyone tried to fit an assembled medium size (4 burner) propane grill in the back? Specs say this specific model assembled measures 45.4”Hx50.3”Wx22.4”D. Would that fit with the 3rd row folded to the side and the 2nd row flipped up? TYIA

You can’t really fit anything bigger than 40” (between seats) x38” (height) through the hatch. Those aren’t exact, but you have 2 measurements bigger than both of those, so I’d say not likely.

Got it, thank you lx200inAR, I appreciate it!

Bad news today. I opened up the oil fill cap to find milky yellow fluid all over the inside of it. :frown: This is a new development. Truck has been running like a top, temp gauge has stayed put. I opened the hood, and the coolant reservoir is nearly empty. No drips or staining or evidence of leaking anywhere. From reading, it could be anything from a head gasket to the oil cooler to the water pump or radiator.

The oil was changed right before I bought this truck, no evidence of coolant then. I was just going to change the oil because I didn’t know what the PO’s shop used.

I’m hoping it’s something simple like the radiator or water pump. I searched coolant in oil in the 200 series section and did not see much in terms of results.

So here’s my question: what all do I need to check? I’m thinking HG, WP, radiator.
Swap the PCV valve. I think @KLF Had the exact same scenario
