Bought my 2013 with these adapters/spacers installed. Are there any concerns running these long-term? I’ve never had the desire to push the tires out further on any vehicle I’ve ever owned, so I’m not attached to them.

I wonder if the previous owner though he needed them to mount the HE wheels on a 2013.

Thanks guys.

The spacers are not needed to use Heritage wheels on a 2013 but they would facilitate the use of tires larger than stock. Using the stock tires size with these spacers would not cause any issues. It would just increase the scrub radius of the front suspension but not likely something you would notice while driving.

Thanks @TCM. I have 275/70 on both my 16 and 13 and am pretty happy with that size. I do get some mild rubbing at full lock on this 2013 with the adapters, but I have yet to investigate. PO already trimmed the front mud flaps.

That tire size is a modest increase from stock. You might have better luck pulling the spacers. This would reduce the size of the arc traveled by the front wheels when you turn from lock to lock and could eliminate the rubbing.

What's your go-to lube for squeaky bushings/suspension?
Silicone spray might help a bit. It won’t damage the bushings or attract dirt like WD40. The problem is that most bushings are so tight that the spray doesn’t really get far enough into them unless you’re disassembling.

Usually if it is the rear shocks then they are not tighten down correctly, and especially if you have a BP51 shocks as they included the wrong bushing washers in many of the kits. If it's a BP51 shocks then you need to use the OEM washers on the bushings.

NO lube on them is best.

i'm rolling the ironman stage 3 kit, and if i'm not mistaken, the squeak i'm hunting for is somewhere in the rear and was there before the ironman stuff was installed. my LC has 90k on the clock and could use an all-around lube treatment.

Looks like those were the same parts i have in my notes. I'll include them here in case that link fails. There are different parts for different years, but i think they may just be supersessions.

I can't get a good visual on mine without removing my rack side rails. Did my moulding break? It looks like it but I can't tell 100%. Or is this where the clip goes?

Any reason not to use a pressure washer to knock the mud off Heritage Edition wheels? It’s a 2200 PSI unit.

I’m only paranoid because a pressure washer will nuke the faux chrome on the 2016+ center caps.

Thanks y’all.

I've knocked paint off my car before like a dum arse with a 1800 PSI.

Keep your distance, you got this!

Here’s another…

Are 13-15 day running/hi beam bulbs supposed to have this much of a yellow/amber color?

Use a 40 degree tip and leave some room for the Holy Spirit.

Couldn’t find my 40 yesterday and my HE wheels survived with a 15 degree tip. Good to know about the faux chrome. I’ve also stripped some paint from a warn fair lead with a 40 degree by getting too personal.

be sure to use the 40* attachment and keep your distance the furthest away possible.

Anyone have a stuck disc? I've tried everything except opening up the CD player to get the little door to move.
