Air vent on top of the dash?

Putting the "S" in SQOD -- I found this on the floor in the footwell of the driver's side passenger seat -- can't find where it's supposed to snap back in . . . . Help, please! Thank you. View attachment 2882093

Air vent cover on wheel wells (flip second row forward)

Can someone explain to me the roof basket/rack mounting issues for a 2018 LX570? I saw someone mention that there was a change at some point and installation was more difficult.

2016+ LX has different OEM rack/rails system. The holes in the truck are all in the same place, but the only way to go to an aftermarket full rack replacement is to drop the headliner. The 2008-2015 LX and 2008-2021 LCs did not have this issue.

Here's a thread where someone modified a prinsu to work with the 2016+ rails.

Thank you so much for the reply, and you were definitely on the right track. Unfortunately, while this piece looks almost identical to those covers, they are a bit longer than this piece. Those covers are still intact on both sides of the cruiser. I looked around again, and still can't find the hole this is supposed to be covering. I'm off to the Google machine to see if I can find a parts diagram that will help.

I have seen some hidden winch mount installs where folks have put a piece of trim over the cut in the bumper which cleans it up nicely. For those of you who have done this where did you get the trim?

Anyone happen to have the part number for the medusa-like harness that connects the rear parking sensors? I sliced mine, repaired it, and now the sensors are not working. I know there is a part number sticker on it but it's currently buried under a dissent rear bumper.

This has probably been asked before, but can anyone tell me what's going on when I'm messing with the liftgate/tailgate in my LX570?

Sometimes when I open the liftgate, I get a series of annoying beeps. Sometimes I get one long beep. I don't know what either of them mean and would love to turn them off.

And more concerning, sometimes when I'm digging around back there loading the cargo area, the truck will start itself completely unprompted! WTF!?!!? Very startling. I would love to disable all this crap an operate my LX like a typical 90's vehicle with power locks. i.e. it's either locked or it's not. If unlocked, you just open stuff manually.

I don't have an LX but I'm gonna guess that the one long beep is happening because you are also pressing the lock button at the same time as the unlock button. That's what my LC does.

Maybe your lock button on your key fob is going crazy. If you have remote start, that is accomplished by pushing the lock button 3 times.

Keyfob buttons on my LX key are very easy to push. I have gone outside before to find all my windows rolled down. And other times had my SO tell me the truck lights were going crazy. I figured out that when I was washing dishes I was triggering the unlock button brushing up against the counter with key in my pocket.

OK, it always seems to be when I'm leaning in to load snowboards or something, so I'm probably just pushing the button in my pocket.

Ok I'll ask today's SQOD. Picked up a 200 on Friday to go with my 80. So it appears when you're getting out of the truck, if you open the door before turning off the engine the thing beeps until the door is shut but if you shut it off first and then open the door no beeps at all. Anything else weird like this? Also this morning I found the inductive phone charger in the dash behind the shift lever but I never saw anything in the manual and never saw any mention of it in any post I've read so kind of a nice surprise assuming it works reasonably well!

No 10 or 12 digit part number stamped on it? Might be able to track it down in a parts diagram wit that. If it’s 10 digits it will have a hyphen in the middle. If 12, it’ll be 5-5-2

Driver's side air vent cover next to the second row lower seat belt anchor. Part number 62525-60080.

Anyone have suggestion for repairing a “minor” hole in the fender liner? Some sort of fiberglass or resin patch maybe?

I think my fender liner got hit by a small meteor or possibly came from the factory like this and is definitely NOT the result of driving over and through downed trees 😂
