Putting the "S" in SQOD -- I found this on the floor in the footwell of the driver's side passenger seat -- can't find where it's supposed to snap back in . . . . Help, please! Thank you. View attachment 2882093
Thank you so much for the reply, and you were definitely on the right track. Unfortunately, while this piece looks almost identical to those covers, they are a bit longer than this piece. Those covers are still intact on both sides of the cruiser. I looked around again, and still can't find the hole this is supposed to be covering. I'm off to the Google machine to see if I can find a parts diagram that will help.Air vent cover on wheel wells (flip second row forward)
I don't have an LX but I'm gonna guess that the one long beep is happening because you are also pressing the lock button at the same time as the unlock button. That's what my LC does. This has probably been asked before, but can anyone tell me what's going on when I'm messing with the liftgate/tailgate in my LX570?
Sometimes when I open the liftgate, I get a series of annoying beeps. Sometimes I get one long beep. I don't know what either of them mean and would love to turn them off.
And more concerning, sometimes when I'm digging around back there loading the cargo area, the truck will start itself completely unprompted! WTF!?!!? Very startling. I would love to disable all this crap an operate my LX like a typical 90's vehicle with power locks. i.e. it's either locked or it's not. If unlocked, you just open stuff manually.
Ok I'll ask today's SQOD. Picked up a 200 on Friday to go with my 80. So it appears when you're getting out of the truck, if you open the door before turning off the engine the thing beeps until the door is shut but if you shut it off first and then open the door no beeps at all. Anything else weird like this? Also this morning I found the inductive phone charger in the dash behind the shift lever but I never saw anything in the manual and never saw any mention of it in any post I've read so kind of a nice surprise assuming it works reasonably well!

No 10 or 12 digit part number stamped on it? Might be able to track it down in a parts diagram wit that. If it’s 10 digits it will have a hyphen in the middle. If 12, it’ll be 5-5-2Putting the "S" in SQOD -- I found this on the floor in the footwell of the driver's side passenger seat -- can't find where it's supposed to snap back in . . . . Help, please! Create a patch from some random plastic: Garbage can, cheap mud flap, scrap from tap plastic? Then rivet or construction adhesive?Anyone have suggestion for repairing a “minor” hole in the fender liner? Some sort of fiberglass or resin patch maybe?
