I have to admit I haven't looked closely enough under the hood of my 200 (shame on me). But from your pics it's looking like Toyota is still using the plastic "T"s in the coolant lines that spawned multiple and long issue threads in the 100 forum.
Unless something changed in the plastic formulation used by Toyota, probably should be included in the 90K mile service for our 200s. Mentioning it as I didn't see it in the 200 series FAQ thread (it's here in the 100 series)
I want to say the plastic has changed between the 100 and 200. I have yet to hear of the dreaded plastic heater T failure in 200, and we have a few people in the 200k+ club here. That said, a 5/8 brass T is only a few bucks if it'll help you sleep at night.
