Southwest 70's Social---ROUND 2! Oct. 25-28, 2018

Sorry friends! I was supposed to get this up ages ago!! But here I am finally getting down to this on my to do list!

So without further adieu, here we have the SW 70 Series Meet 2018 thread!



When: October 25-28, 2018

Where: Sand Hallow State Park, Hurricane, UT

Why: Because 70 Series folks are pretty damn epic in my book and we had an incredible time last year...so why not do it again!!

The Nitty Gritty: Instead of all piling in at @woody and Heather's place lets book campsites at Sand Hallow State Park just outside Hurrican, UT (I need to look up if they have a group site). I've camped here before and its pretty nice, you can camp on the water of the lake, and temps shouldn't be to cold during the day. We can BBQ/cook meals as a group, and call this home base for the weekend. I'll leave trail suggestions up to @woody, but the area has so much to offer! I may even take a day and hike in Zion or something like that.

So spread the word to all the 70 folk out there, and I guess @stickers 80 can come play too!

Wish I could make it for this one as wheeling a 70 there is on my bucket list.

Unfortunately I will be leaving after the Southern Cruiser Crawl to Europe for a few weeks.

I'm not sure I'll be back in a 70 series by this date (I'm trying!), but I live so close to Sand Hollow (about 30 mins across the valley) I really want to make it out for this. Perhaps I can ride along in an empty 70 seat somewhere... @cruiseroutfit maybe?--you know yet if you're going to make it to this one?

Provided my air and fuel systems are back together and I’ve got my brakes sorted, you’re welcome to ride along with me. Happy to share the driver’s seat too.

Up in the air at the moment, definitely on my calendar but SEMA starts the next day and I'll have guests in town from out of country.
