Hey, those look pretty good. Mine are 5mm x .080 thread. I emailed them to find out. Always worried about the powder coating holding up to the screwdriver.

Thanks David!

Oo, I like the red. Everything is black on my pig except I have blood red paint on my roll bars. Red fasteners might be a good addition.

Here's the other side, all wired up. The voltmeter settles down to 13.3 volts after first connected to the battery. It's for the " house battery " that runs the compressor, fridge, etc.

Hard to see, but I have a braided stainless steel air line running from the comp. through the fender and out to that new plug where the reflector was. Both the ARB lockers are hooked up! :)

The compressor is mounted on some hard rubber, cut to fit and helps absorbs any vibration while running. It also allows me to drain the tank underneath.

It would take a lot for the M37 to rust, from the days the Military didn't care about weight. They both will be inside, just one will be bunk mates with the tractor.

Beautiful yard Ron, I live out in the middle of the desert with lots of tumble weed and after planting 30+ trees I think we’re down to two survivors. Very envious of the trees in the Fall….

Looks like you’re getting ready to drive your beast and let me give one little piece of advice, torque your lug nuts before your first outing and again when you return, probably wouldn’t hurt to check them a third time after the first couple hundred miles, I’m going to tell you repairing a vehicle after you put as much work as you have sucks big time.

Good luck she looks great!!!!!

Thanks Jim,

Man, after seeing yours, I'm double doubting everything on mine. When we were building the exhaust I noticed a spring hanger bolt super loose, just never tightened it. I'm going at it really slow, since I missed the Fall trip. I have all Winter to finish up.

Just reporting in, not a lot of big updates, but moving forward at least. The main focus has been shock mounts, which I've stuck my head in the sand throughout this whole build, thinking everything would work out correct. Well, we know how that works out. :) I'm going with King shocks, so I can dial in the valving and get them rebuilt when needed. Problem is the mounting, getting everything to match was a pain. Toyota mounts, after market mounts and what King offers are all different. I should mention the small fact of using 60 axles with the parking brake cable right in line with the 55's shocks. I started over and made my own, moving the shock mounts in front of the axle and around the exhaust pipe. The rears are done, almost. :) Here's the upper mount bracket, I'm going with a remote reservoir, so needed a place for them, also.

Not sure if I posted the air line from the compressor, coming through the body at the reflector site, turned out good.

One other nice thing corrected, I've always had a 3/4" driver's side lean, using Old Man Emu springs, but didn't know if they were marked for a certain side. I went a head and switched them and like magic, it corrected the lean! All is good.

that's sick, Ron...that's millenial for good job, BTW...unless...I'M LATE:doh:

Ron,

Will you still have a rear sway bar with that shock mount?

I had a heck of a time mounting my rear shocks and keeping the sway bar from contacting the shocks at full droop.

J Mack,

yes, my sway bar is mounted on the back side. Something down the road I might change.

Are you using the 8" or 10" shocks in the rear?

Haven't made that measurement yet. Everything got changed when I made new mounts. I need to cycle it and see what they say. I've got no experience at buying shocks this way, so relying on their help.
