I'm researching wheels for my rig... and i'm trying to find a simple looking steel wheel. ... something that's OEM.. or looks OEM.. not shinny and bling bling... Im only running 32's,33's or 34's on this rig.. so i dont need a custom wheel made. Does anyone know of any type with the 93-97 FJ80 bolt pattern?

Yes. Toyota sells an OEM steel wheel for the 80-Series. PM cruiserdan for the best price you will find on these.

OEM steel wheel...

I have these.

They're inexpensive -- around $50 to $60 each.

I like the OEM steel, but they're about twice the price.

Doug, what is the back space on that wheel? I like that look.

Thanks,

Vince

16" -- it's the inexpensive version sold by America's/Discont Tire (www.tire.com). I think the brand is "Unique" -- it's a fairly common wheel design -- you should be able to find it pretty much anywhere.

After beating the crap out of my once shiny OEM alloys, I was looking for sometihng inexpensive to put the new tires on. Also the fact that I still have the 285/75s on the OEM wheels required that I get something else for the 315s.

I really like the look of your wheels.
Rather than cut/weld to change the backspacing, couldn't you have bolted some spacers on?

OEM steel wheel...

That HAS to be the studliest wheel on the studliest 80 on the planet........ :grinpimp:

Just remember if you start looking at Tacoma rims and want a 16" you need to look at 2001 and later models. The 1995.5-2000 (1st and 2nd Generations) came with 15" wheels.

www.ttora.com would be a good place to check on those, they change rims over there more often than I change my underwear.

Are all aftermarket rims hub centric as in OEM rims?
