Good price, 120,000 miles originally from colorado. Looks like a little rust. What do you guys think. Iits mechanically sound, but looks like rust issues. He is asking me for 3,500.

with all that rust I would pass on it or have him drop the price..
What you want it for ? DD or Wheeler ?

If all else is good? $2500. would be a better deal.

x2 $2500 tops. Offer it, and see what the seller says. But before you do that, take a look at the frame. How rusty is that?

Looking for a daily driver. No mudding just in town driving. I'm going to take a look soon and report back about rust underneath. If I see rust under should I run?

Im already running for yah.....
I would keep looking....
Seriously, you could find something that is not running as well and fix it.
The rust on the other hand..you could but its a lost battle.. unless you willing to drop some serious $$$ into it.

Rust is there to stay and will eat away until it falls apart...

That rig ain't all that special for $3500. I wouldn't even go $2500 because my bet is that you will want to spend another $2500 to bring it up to the level that it would be worth $4000 on the market (that's Cruiser reality math). Low mileage is a good thing and the uncracked dash is a good sign. But, you are going to want seat covers..right? You are going to want a new foam seat bottom on the driver's side..right? You don't know what condition the radiator is in (for example..it could be applied to a number of different items that have 120K miles on them). There could be some unspoken mechanical reasons this rig is for sale.

This could not be more true. I drove 5 hours, one way, to overpay for my 135k original mile "too good to be true" Cruiser, and it was DEFINITELY too good to be true. In fact, my @ss is still aching from how many time Benjamin has passed through it over the last two months. Please heed this warning...there are more out there, I promise.

not a 3.5k truck.
low mileage on these is not a creditable selling point.
if i was feeling generous, i would make a 2k offer, but more than likely it would 1800 or so.
shop hard enough and you can find an 80series for 3500.

Seems like a lot of money to spend on rust. I would keep looking around if i were you. Even if you got it for $1800-2000 you'd still have to pump money into treating the rust.

Keep us posted!

Thats a glamour ride compared to my $1500 ebay rust bucket but this 60 has been more fun and a better ride than my last ten fords not to mention the looks the hotties give yeh when you come into town all mudded over! So i wreckon if it rolls and you got the reddies just buy it...

My $3500 Ride

1 month ago I bought a 60 for $3500. Runs great, no rust, some solid upgrades, and NO RUST.

Bottom line is this ... You're going to put money into a 60 NO MATTER WHAT !! So, buy one that is solid with no rust and you can invest the money into the upgrades that you WANT... not that you NEED.

That's just my opinion ...

check craigslit in Arizona and NewMexico and you could find a no rust one

2k max for the car + 2k more in body repair if you would go that way (my opinio)

Also check below of the car and you will find more surprises
