Thanks! Mine weren't bad at all before or even after the diff drop. I've heard some say that you dont need it but I went ahead and installed it for piece of mind.

I have the toy tech suspension 2.5" for past 2 years after I installed the diff spacer which came with the PKG I realized factory should have had those installed since now the half shaft they sitting nice and even . I am very happy with TT the ride is fantastic on road and off road and pulling a trailer with 3000 pound it does not even bother that suspension .

What kind of alignment were you able to achieve? How much caster? Still running stock UCA's?

For sure, Im super pleased with my Toytec kit! Doug the owner is a super nice guy and his team is really knowledgable.

Not sure on the alignment specs, I just took it to my usual guy but yes still running stock uca's for now.

Went out to Palomar Mountain for some camping over Halloween weekend, had a blast, both trucks performed flawlessly! Still need to do a little more trimming to the GX, also took some GoPro video of the trails that I'll try and post!

The Toytec HD rear springs loaded down with gear made the truck ride like a caddy! Probably dropped about an inch in the rear with camping gear and 3 passengers.

Cheers!

1. Ordered on Ebay, just search Toyota part number 58839-60040 or if you don't want the pocket you can go with part number 58839-60020 which is a blank piece you could use for switches like your fancy lockers you got coming!

2. Ah do it! I install them on all my vehicles, too cheap not to!

3. Ya but I miss all that southern food ya'll got down there!

You should be able to get them from a dealer as well. I got my pocket insert from the local dealer as it was just as cheap as online and I'd rather support a local company

1. Awesome thanks ... after thinking about I may use that area to mount a cell phone perch with a USB so I can free up cig light socket ... not sure where I'm gonna put all my switches ... wish the casset player wasn't there that would be perfect

2. I have LEDs now but they sucks ... did you buy a kit for a gx that has all the bulbs ... give me source for that too

3. That's why so many people are unhealthy in LA ... amazing food ... and never have to walk up hill

I did the non-pocket blank and mounted my rear LED switch on it.

1. Ya Ive considered dremmeling a hole in the bottom of the pocket and converting it to a charging port since the iPhone 6 fits in there pretty well. Let me know what you end up doing.

2. Ah misread your other post about already having them... Ordered on Amazon, a kit by Classy Auto's for the GX. I honestly didnt do a ton of research on them but they came out really nice and the company sent me lights for everything from the flip down mirrors to the door accent lights.

3. Haha I just try and stay south of all that non sense

I have the same classy auto LED's, I was a little upset that it did not include the front push lights in the upper console. I ordered those separate.

Love your GX!!! I recently bought same pearl color 136 K miles. Starting to plan for suspension swop.

I also drive an FJ but the GX is my daily driver. I will only do limited mods for overland purposes unlike what I have done to the FJ.

Your setup looks really great. How is the ride on that Toytec suspension? I want to get it as close to current as I can

Thanks

FCS- Thanks the GX is an awesome overland truck! The Toytec front 2.5 series coils ride great, better than stock and they absorb bumps with no problem. I have the HD Superflex rear springs and without gear in them they are a little stiff compared to stock but I dont mind it, plus you get a decent more lift over the standard superflex springs. Once you load stuff in the back they ride really nice which is perfect because I eventually want to go with a rear bumper. Welcome to mud and good luck with your new 120!

Cheers!
