Condolences to you and your family cousin. He is at peace now.

Lee,

Real sorry to hear about your Dad. Like others have mentioned, it was great to learn a little about a gentleman from the greatest generation. I know Oklahoma City is a great distance from me, but if you need anything let me know mate.

I found this article online today and thought I would share it since what I have learned about your dad, Army, defined it.

"The Art of Manliness"

Sincerest condolences to you and your family. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary and I are so sorry to hear about your dad Lee. Army will "soldier on" in the after life. Thanks for sharing some of that part of your life with us in this forum. If you need anything, we're there for ya'

My condolences to you and your family. He was a good man.

I spent several hours over the last couple of days reading this thread and wanted to share how much I enjoyed your adventure. I laughed regularly, I got teary eyed by times and I was warmed constantly by this unique community and the friends that we have but we haven't met yet.

My condolences to you and yours, Sea Knight.

I'm sure the time you spent at his bedside meant the world to him. Sometimes it's hard to express your feelings to someone but I'm sure he was able to see thru your writing the great respect and love you had for him. I'm sure in his heart you could not have given him a greater gift.

We'll be thinking about you.

Condolences.

Perhaps a verse from OKC's own, the 'Lips:

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I haven't posted before but I have truly enjoyed reading your story. Take as long of a break on the story as you need to take care of your dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm sorry to hear about your father may he rest in peace. I look forward to reading about father when you get around to it. God bless.

RIP Army ... Sorry about your loss

Sent from outer space via my mind

Lee we had a large group at Rudy's this evening, new faces and established friends. Your news hit many of us like a shock wave and I wanted you to know that you are the recipient of many thoughts and prayers. Emailed you earlier, let me know if I can help you or Kathy in any way.
