First things first.....gotta sort out the tires.

I buzzed down to 49Tire today and had them install some 285/75-16 Yokohama X-ATs.

Again, this thing drives fantastic. We are rearranging the suspension on this one when I start in on this thing full time. It really needs caster correction. People that lift these trucks without correcting caster just have no idea how sketchy it makes them.

More info on that later. This thing turns a lot of heads in the road for sure.

I am waiting on parts today so I decided to give the 80 a good interior deep clean.

I've never seen a truck like this with the thick pile carpet

This truck's interior is in absolute remarkable condition. Very little wear. The Saudis are known for putting seat covers and blankets on all wear surfaces. I don't doubt this one had those

Love that it still has the factory floor mats. I ordered some weather tech to preserve the carpet.

Factory manual is in place in English and Arabic

Love the simple no airbag interior with the manual tranny

Rear AC. Check out the tube that takes the air up

Cool box. Wonder how cold the ICE setting gets ?

Looks great Nolen. Love the deep shag.

I'm pretty sure there was an OEM ice tray for the cool box.

That’s just the bottom of the cooler I believe. It’s not an ice tray. The cooler should have a opening towards the front that two clear square trays slide into.

Bonkers

Thank you for sharing the interior. Interesting stuff and a time capsule. Looks very well taken care of. I might have missed, is shag type carpet standard in that region or added on because the customers preferred

It's 100% OEM but I'm not sure if it's GCC specific like the stripes and gold accents. I have personally never seen the thick carpet but that's not saying much, I've not spent a lot of time in 1991-1993 US market 80s

The thick pyle carpet was offered in some markets, I think it was with the VX trim but not certain on that - someone will correct me. I've pulled it out of trucks from Japan and the Middle East.
